chapter 42

Beca's pov.

I pull chloe behind me and fire a shot at the gigantic human things.

"Don't let them near the wall! Aim for their heads!" i yell.

I lightly push chloe behind the wall and we all fire at the things. They run at us and my eyes widen when they are almost at the wall and we haven't even killed one of them.

"They aren't dying! What are we going to do!?" Stacie yells at me.

"We need to slow them down. Aim for there legs!" I yell back.

Everyone nods and start to shoot the monsters their legs but nothing happens. They just keep getting closer and closer. It's like they just don't care that they have hundreds of bullet wounds!

"Beca, they are closing in! What do we do!? Beca!" Aubrey yells.

My eyes widen. I don't know. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to save them. I can't let them down! Come on beca, think! Before i can even continue trying to come up with a plan, one of those things suddenly falls down and that's  when i notice a person standing there. Who the hell is that!?

"Runner! To your left!" A guy in blue shouts.

The guy in a green uniform kind of thing nods at the guy in blue and rushes off to kill the monsters.

"How the hell is he moving that fast! Look at him go." Ashley says in awe.

"I guess his friends don't call him runner for nothing." I say with a small smile.

"Don't panic." I hear someone say from behind me.

I quickly turn around and point my gun at a girl who looks just like the boys but her clothes are black.

"Who the hell are you and who are your friends?" I say while i glare at her.

"You can call me shadow. The guy in blue is silence and the guy in green is runner. We came here to help and to get our revenge on the guy who started the Apocalyps." Shadow says.

"The guy who started the Apocalyps? You're after my dad? Why? He might be the only one who can change it." I say.

I see shadow her eyes widen a bit.

"He's your father? I'm so sorry to hear that. And no, he can't fix this anymore. The only thing that can end this is killing  every single infected. Then we can keep things under controle." Shadow says.

I sigh and nod.

"Alright, but what will happen to his base?" I ask her.

"Don't worry about it. As you can see, the boys cleared out the monsters. Let us take care of your father beca. Silence will stay here to protect you while we deal with it. Don't worry." She says.

I nod and she runs off.

"Did you see that!? They are crazy! The killed those monsters like it was nothing. They are so awesome.." ashley says.

The guy in blue walks over to us while runner and shadow run after my dad. He got cold feet and decided to run as soon as the three of Them showed up.

"Hello, i'm silence and i wil keep you safe." He says.

He takes his blue mask off and i smile when i notice that ashley is staring at him. She deserves to find love.

"Hello silence. You were pretty good out there." Ashley says.

Silence blushes a bit.

"Thank you ashley. I was just trying to protect you all." He says.

"Wait, how do you know my name?" Ashley asks him.

Silence shrugs.

"We followed you all for a few weeks to make sure you were safe. And hey, isn't their a wedding to plan? What are we still doing outside!? Come one people, now that you are all safe for a while you should get married!" Silence says.

I smile and look at chloe.

"What do you think baby? Want to get married today?" I ask her.

Chloe smiles and takes my hand.

"I would love to." She says.

I smile and kiss her cheeck.

Our kidnappers are gone, we have a wall around our base, ashley finaly starts to act like herself again and we have a badass assasin like guy with us who wants to keep us safe. And most importantly, i'm marrying the love of my life. Apocalyps or not, it doesn't matter as long as i'm around the people i love. Anything is possible when i'm with them.
