The lunch bell rang loudly, and of course, Zia took off. Whilst, Heather and I walked. Like people, who don't look like they're always on a sugar high, do.

"I still don't know why she does that," Heather laughed,"the food will still be there."

"She says to not end up in line the whole lunch period," I shrugged. I had asked her a few weeks ago.

"I dunno why she doesn't gain weight, she eats ALL the time," she threw her hands up. I shrugged.

We reached the cafeteria's double doors. I walked towards the line and Heather towards the Fakies' table.

"Hey," I said to Ziana once I was standing by her.

"Hey," she said getting her lunch. We both got our lunches and walked over to our table.

"How are you feeling?" Mariah asked. They've been worrying over me since I got back to school. They even disagreed with my parents for letting me go to the fieldtrip tomorrow.

"Okay," I shrugged. She eyed me for A few seconds before going back to her conversation with Leeroy.

I ate my lunch in silence while my three friends, Mariah, Zia, and Leeroy, talked about random stuff that would come to their minds.

"So, what's up with you?" Leeroy asked eyeing me suspiciously. I couldn't get the what happened yesterday, out of my mind.

"Umm...have you notice how Yaslin has been avoiding me?" I leaned in towards Leeroy and Mariah while Ziana leaned in with me, since she sat next to me.

"Ya, she's been pretty jumpy." Zia commented. Leeroy and I nodded I n agreement.

"But, I don't think she's avoiding you," she finished.

"I don't know guys," Mariah said hesitantly.

"When was the last time you hanged out with her?" Leeroy questioned.

"No, guys, she's our friend! She probably has things to do, we can't talk about her like this!" Mariah exclaimed. Leeroy and Zia bowed their heads in shame.

"Sorry," they both whispered. I kept quiet. I was suspicious. Somethings is up, I'm not the only one who noticed.

Mariah left the table, frustrated. Worried, both of my friends chased after her. I knew something was up. And I was determined to know. I walked out of the cafeteria in the opposite direction.

Walking towards my locker, I rammed into something. Or someone. I took a step back. Seeing that, indeed, I had ran into someone. I saw the person's black t-shirt, almost seeing the pack of abs he had under, first. He cleared his throat.

"Would you stop checking me out?" the cocky guy said. Wait. I've heard that voice before.

I looked up to see his smirk, soon to be washed away when he realized who I was.

No.

Way.

I'm seeing things that cannot be him.
