Chapter 17 ~ Carnival

    I walked down the Mariah's stairs and passed to kitchen, with Lou and Leeroy following.

I did a double take and saw Liam and Zia watching Spongebob on the small flat screen.

    I walked in and saw that they were eating Lemon Lays. Well, Liam was trying to eat them.

"But how do they have a beach under water?" Liam questions.

    Ziana gave him a blank look and ignored him, looking back at the television.

"And how does that pineapple not rot?" he continues.

She ignores him again.

"How is the inside of his house squared when the pineapple is circular?" he asks again.

"Would you shut the hell up and watch the damn cartoon, already?!" she asked clearly annoyed.

We laugh.

"Sorry, Liam but seriously, stop." she says.

"I'll forgive you if you give me some chips." he proposes.

"Hey guys-"

"Ooo Chips !!" Leeroy squealed like a little kid and pushes past us. I hear Lou chuckle.

"Guys, Mariah kicked us out-"

"No I didn't!!" Mariah yells from upstairs.

"Okay, pointi s we gotta get going now." I finally got to say.

"K." Zia says turning off the t.v. and Liam putting away the chips.

     Byes and see you later were chorused before we walked out the door. We walked to the carnival, since it was close by.

     We talked about random stuff that came to our minds.

"Ya, I know I hate English." Lou said.

"It's my worst class." Ziana says.

"Its soooo boring, like who cares..." I trailed off.

    Did I hear footsteps? Like last time. I must be paranoid, it's earlier than last time.

    I feel my breathing getting quicker and shorter. The boys being here calms me. It can be anyone. It is a public sidewalk.

    Once I saw the farris wheel, I felt relieved.

"Come on, we're almost there!!" Leeroy yells running away from us. We start run after him.

"How many?" the lady in the booth says.

"Uhh...one, two, three-" Leeroy counts.

"Five." Liam states.

"Ok, that will be $20." she says getting our wristbands.

We all put in our 4 bucks and got our wristbands.

"Have a good afternoon." the lady drones.

"Yesh, have a good mood." Lou mutters.

"Hey Jackie can I talk to you for a second?" Zia asked.

"Ya, what's up?" I asked. We sat down at a near by bench while the guys waited in line.

"Did you hear the...um..." she trails off. She looks at me and I know what she's talking about.

"The footsteps?" I asked, lowering my voice.

"I think they're following us again." Ziana said also lowering hers.

"I think so too." I say.

"Guys!!" We heard one of the boys call us from the line.

We basically rode all the rides there. Even Lou tired to ride the kiddie ones. Of course, they didn't like him. We ran into Zayn, or as Leeroy calls them Zariah, about three times. All of which, they were kissing or feeding each other cotton candy or ice cream causing of all to turn our direction.

"My feet hurt!!!" Zia whines again.

"I'm hungry!!" Louis whines.

"How could you be hungry you ate like eight churos!?" I exclaimed.

"I'm a growing teenager." he shrugged.

"How 'bout we go find ourselves a place to eat?" Liam asks "Real food." he clarifies when Lou gave him a look.

"Okay!" Leeroy chirps.

We walked to the nearest, place since Ziana's was getting tired of walking. Which was taco bell.

"I love taco bell!!" Ziana squealed.

"One of our friends loves tacos." Liam states.

"Well, you guys should bring him around and we'll go eat or something." Ziana suggested.

"I don't know...." Lou trailed off.

"He doesn't exactly like hanging out with brunettes." Liam said simply.

"Why not?" I asked. How weird.

"It reminds him of a friend that passed away a year or two ago." he says. Zia gasps.

"That's so sad." I nodded, feeling bad for the guy.

"Ya but we never met her." Lou adds, " It happened before we met him."

"Oh..." before I could ask anything else u saw that Taco Bell was in front of us. Well that walk was fast.

Liam holds the door open for us only closing in Lou's face. He enters to a laughing fest with a frown on his face.

I have tired to keep a schedule on my updates. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. I'll try my best to update every day but my chapters are getting long to write so as you probably noticed theyve been getting shorter. I'm cutting my chapters into two.
