Chapter 16 ~ Full On Laughing

"So, what are we doing today?" Leeroy asks.

   We haven't been hanging out much outside of school, so Mariah said we should go out.

   Here we are a Saturday afternoon at Mariah's house trying to figure out where we should go.

"Hey, how about we g-" Zia was cut off by Mariah's phone.

"Hey!"

"Well I'm here with Ziana, Jackie,and Leeroy plan-"

"No, please ,Zayn, that's stupid."

  Well at least we know who's she's talking to.

"Okay, well we're going out."

"I'm not sure, that's what we're talking about."

"That's a great idea."

"Okay, I'll tell them." and she hung up. We stare at her.

"Mariah tells us what he said!" I groan.

"Well, he asked if I was busy and I told him I was going out, and he said we should go to the Carnival." she said.

"And...." I pushed.

"Well, it's kind of like a date for us," she started off, " but he said that he'll tell his friends to go."

"Mariah!! This was supposed to be us time!! Not a date!" Leeroy whined.

"I know, I know. It's just that he's...." she trailed off "I'm sorry."

"No, I'm sorry." he smiled at her "this is your first boyfriend since the guy who is never to be named back in middle school, you should be excited, and live a little it's highschool." he ranted "Am I forgiven?" he said holding his arms out for a hug.

Mariah walked into his arms. As they were hugging, Mariah whispered some shocking news.

"He's not my boyfriend." she sighed.

Leeroy pulled away still grabbing her shoulders.

"What?!" we basically all yelled at her.

"Mariah, I demand a explanation." he says sounding like a mother scolding her child.

"He's just hasn't asked." she shrugged.

"What?!" Leeroy blurted.

"Isn't that why he took you on a date for?" Ziana asked, clearly shocked.

"We've only known each other for a week." she defends Zayn.

"Ya, but..." Zia trails off, "You told us you guys talked every day."

"But it's only a week." she defends again.

"But it's like, like," Leeroy tries.

"It's true love!!" we all say again  together.

"You guys sound like Anna from Frozen." she laughed.

Leeroy chuckled.

"So, what are we doing today?" he asks sitting down on the bed.

"Well....I'm going to get ready for my date while you guys can do whatever until Lou comes." she explains.

"Okay, what about you?" he asks.

"I'm going to wait for Zayn, silly." she giggled, "He said Lou would pick you guys up while he picks me up."

"Oh, soooo...." he trails off.

"Soooo...what?" Mariah says.

"Is one of them hot?"

We laugh at his question.
