Romeo's POV~

It was 4:50 when we reached the roller rink and about 5 when we finally equipped our skates and got on the floor.  We both had in-lines  and it had been over six years since I had been able to go skating, so I was a bit rusty of course.  That didn't stop me from actually trying to act like I knew what I was doing, though.

We skated until about 7:45. I had fallen at least six times, so my right palm was bruised from always catching myself and my ankles and legs were aching from the workout.  We had returned the skates and left the building, embracing the cold outdoors once again.  Snow was still covering everything in sight, but at least it wasn't falling from the sky anymore.

I sighed and watched as our breath came out in huge puffs of vapor, swirling with the wind until it eventually vanished.

"Okay, time to go to one more place." Orion stated. "It isn't far from here, so,"

My vision suddenly became obscured as he tied the bandana from earlier over my eyes.  I had completely forgotten about it until then.  "Uh, okay.."

"Put your hands on my shoulders and I'll lead you carefully, alright?  You won't fall, trust me."

I was slightly unsure of that, but put my hands up.  He took them and guided them to his shoulders, holding them there as we started walking.  The snow and ice proved unsteady and hardly predictable, but we managed spitefully on our way.  The air was freezing, however my body felt fairly warm in the onsie.  Only my face really felt cold.  Surely my nose was already pink.

What could he want to show me... I pondered, trying to come up with theories but it was hard to tell when it came to him.  But I couldn't help the small blush that warmed my cheeks, feeling his strong shoulders under my palms and fingertips.  Firm and muscular...

It felt like forever before Orion finally stopped.  He conversed with a someone about payment, then led me up some metal steps and onto a metal platform.  He then finally took my hands off his shoulders and had me sit down.  A moment later, he removed the blindfold.

I immediately looked around just as the contraption shifted and began to move slowly.  We were on a Ferris Wheel, to my near shock.  It was much larger than I had expected it to be.  Our town had had a Ferris Wheel built a few years back, but I had never gone to see it let alone ride it.

"Wow.." I breathed, then blowing some hot air into my hands which were starting to feel a bit pink themselves.  I was still looking around.

"Do you like?" Orion asked.

"I certainly didn't expect this.." I admitted, rubbing my hands together a little.

He chuckled and sat down next to me.  "... I'm glad we actually made it tonight.."

"Really now?"

"Yes, really.." He said as he took my hand, warming it in his.  I didn't think too much of it until he brought it to his lips and kissed where it had been bruised.

More heat rushed to my face as he kissed my wrist, then the back of my hand and then my knuckles.  "R-Ri..." Words had fled me.

"Romeo, I think you should know how I feel by now.  And I know you feel the same way; you're just confused... But I want to put that unease to rest, now."  He looked at me with burning red eyes that bore into mine, making my heart beat a thousand miles per second.  "I've been avoiding confronting you about it because of all the bullshit that has been going on, but I just can't wait on it any longer."

Words defeated me.  My tongue felt completely tied up as my heart bounced around the cage of my chest, mind a mess.  What am I supposed to say?  This has never happened to me before?  What's going on!?
