Romeo's POV~

It was the day after and, at the moment, I was home alone in front of the TV with a slice of cake watching Soul Eater whislt Orion was at his interview.  The sleaves of my new hoodie were pulled up to my elbows and my legs tucked beneath me in some grey sweats.  Orion got his gift when we returned home on Valentine's Day.  It was really just a card I made and worked likely way too hard to try and perfect.  It was nothing compared to what he gave me.  And his would probably last longer, too.

So, that being said, I just gotta work harder for next year.  No matter how much I protested, though, he proffessed how much he loved it.  But I still felt outdone and it was no less than frustrating for me.

Being so obsorbed with the show's action and the sweet and savoy flavors of the cake, the sudden shift of the door as it opened nearly made me jump out of my skin.  Did I lock the door!?  My head snapped over to see my boyfriend grinning ear to ear as he entered and quickly shut the door to keep the heat in.

"We need to have some more sweet vanilla sex, 'cause I swear it worked me wonders and guess who's no longer unemployed~"

A burning blush completely invaded my features as I gulped the bite of fluffy red velvet and chocolateyness in my mouth.  ".... You?"

"That's right, baby~" He danced his way over to me and sat down, taking the plate from my hands and setting it aside before climbing ontop of me and forcing me down (read: let him push me down) on the sofa.  His lips found the nape of my neck just under my ear which sent immediate shivers through me.  Alert: System Error.

"O-Orion, knock it off..." I pleaded, reaching for my cake as if to make an excuse.

"But I'm happy right now and I want you~" He voiced as if both facts weren't clear enough.

"Then bake some flirty cookies- I dunno, just don't eat me."

"Aww~, but you smell so goo~d." He pouted, still kissing at my neck around the red petals he had left in our latest moment of intamacy.

"That's because I was eating cake." I stated matter-of-factly.  "And if you would be so kind, I would like to continue doing so."

He groaned, light heartedly as he got up and set me free.  "You're no fun."

"Actually, I was having a lot of fun until you came home." I teased as I sat up and retieved my plate from the coffee table.

He scoffed with a playful eyeroll before standing up.  "Well, I'm gonna go change into something more comfy."

I just nodded, taking another anticipated bite of my cake, then watched him as he left to the bedroom.  Something seemed a bit different, somehow, but I couldn't quite pin it.

Shrugging it off for the time being, I turned my attention back to the anime.  I'd seen it about a billion times so the scenes that had passed I basically had engraved into my memory already.

Orion's POV~

After changing into some black sweats and my new green hoodie, I back-tracked to the living room and plopped down next to Romeo, resting my hands behind my head as I slouched into the couch.  There's a reason those two words rhyme, by the way.  He was watching somewhere into Season 2 of Soul Eater, so in the progression of reviving the Kishin.

The burn of wandering eyes seemed to bore into the side of my head after a moment or so and my attention turned to my boyfriend who was staring at me with a curious gaze.  I gave him a questioning one in return, cocking an eyebrow.
