Romeo's POV~

The morning was, for once, fresher than it normally was when I woke up.  Usually it was just dying out or already had.  At the moment, however, it was just about noon and I had settled on playing a video game whilst Rion was in the shower.

Yesterday had been the worst I'd felt in a while, and I'd had a good handfull of low moments semi-recently.  Not that I brought them up to Orion or anyone, but I didn't find them important enough to worry him with.  He had had enough to worry about with his family and all.  He should have a break from stress for a while.

Orion entered the room with nothing but a towel over his shoulders.  "Ahh, Disgaea?"

"Yeah.  The story's fun." I responded from where I sat on the floor, by the bed.  It was the closest I could be to the TV and see everything more clearly.

He strode to the bed and climbed over the covers.  A few seconds later, I felt his arms wrap around my shoulders and his face rest by my head.  I could feel the still-warm dampness from his hair.  He hadn't done a complete job of drying, seeing as a few water drops ran uncomfortably down the side of my face.

"That round was amazing as always, babe." He purred.  The deep sound of his voice ran a chill down my spine and gave me goosebumps.  "And yet... I'm curious.  When are you gonna give another demonstration like the one you gave oh-so-many months ago~?"

I tried to keep my main focus on the chess-like strategy game on the screen.  "Um... What do you mean?"

"Hmm, don't you remember switching that one night?  We were playing some kind of game.  Had some drinks, I think.  Speed Facts.  It was phenomenal."

I paused, trying to recall what he meant.

Orion continied.  "We had actually played numerous other games, as well.  But... on that kinda note, I wouldn't be surprised if you forgot.  It's vague for me, but still."

I frowned.  That had to have been back in... what, January?  February?  And switching?  I combed through my memory more, trying to recall anything.  "... Why?"

He shrugged. "I dunno.  Just wondering.  I don't know what triggered you to initiate it that way, but over these months I assume it isn't something you normally do."

Nope.  That's for sure.  Unfortunately, all I can distinctly remember was feeling kind irritated about something that night.  "Hmm..."

"Anyways, what do you want to do today?"

"I don't know.  Video games?  Movie?  Uhh..."  I paused, getting a little discombobulated by the voiceovers in a cut-scene.  "-Oh, your sister called while you were in the shower.  She wanted you to call her back as soon as possible."

He blew a raspberry and pulled back from me.  I heard him moving some cords around, assumingly unplugging his phone.  Meanwhile, Fenrich was getting frustrated by Valvatorez's obsession with sardines.

"... Hey, T.  What is it you wanna talk about?"

Ninja slowly came stalking up near me, making a smile itch onto my lips.  His yellow eyes gazed at me and at the controller.  They then panned to Orion.  I made some small clicks with my tongue to get his attention.

"... I mean, no.  I don't have a problem with that.  Why don't you have your boyfriend do it?  Not that I'm complaining about it at all, but a-..... Yes, I know, you say that but I honestly don't remember the fucker's name, so-... I'm not being disrespectful!  I'm just honest!"

Ninja padded his way closer and I outstretched my hand so he could rub his face into my palm.

"Shut up!  That's completely different.  Hey, we can argue about this some other time.  Hurry up, or you'll be late for work...  See ya." Rion hung up and sighed.
