Orion's POV~

I got up to go answer the door, leaving Romeo in the bedroom.  Perhaps it was just new neighbors or something like that, or even door-to-door sales(wo)men.  It could even be the police touching base on the cases we'd filed.  So why is it I have this unnerving sensation in my gut telling me not to grab that doorknob and greet whoever it is?  It's time's like this I wish I had a peep-hole so I at least get to prepare myself.

Taking a deep breath, I grabbed the handle.  There's nothing to worry about.  All your bad ties with the past have been severed ever since you left that cursed place.  Exhaling I opened the door.

There stood a face I swore I'd never see again.

"Ori~o~n, there you a~re!" She threw herself on me before I could even acknowledge who she was. Bleach-blonde coils of hair flooded my vision followed immediately by the overpowering scent of too-sweet strawberries, peaches and something flowery.  "I've been combing the streets for you, y'know~"

"J-Juny..?" I attempted to pry her off of me, but her grip hadn't weakened a bit since I'd last seen her.  "What the hell are you doing here?"

She pulled back so she could look at my face but still clung unnecessarily close -way too close for my own, personal comfort.  Her honey brown eyes sparkled with feminine charm and seduction.  "I told you I'd never let you go.  Even if I was upset.  I'm sorry if I made you feel unwanted, baby; I was on my monthly; you know how that can be..."  She pouted her cherry glossed lip out for dramatic effect, batting her long eyelash extensions.

I was at a loss for words and completely baffled.  How the hell had this bitch found me?  She's a fucking psychopath!  This bitch is probably half the reason I wanted to leave my old life behind... "Juny, get off me!" I began ripping her hands off.

Only, her willpower was relentless as she flung more of herself on me, her soft bosom pressed eagerly and invasively against my chest as she tried to make me cave.  "Oh come now, my little devil~. Are you going to give me your belt, or should I take it from you myself~?"

"Jun-!" As I was about to resort to more harsher measures, I felt her being forced off of me followed by the crisp and distinct sound of a slap.

And I had prepared for it.

Romeo's POV~

Very fortunately for me, Orion was the one to go answer the door.  But it was when I heard a very unfamiliar voice followed by the uncomfortable remarks from Rion that I got up and went to see what was happening.

"Oh come now, my little devil~. Are you going to give me your belt, or should I take it from you myself~?" The woman purred, pressing herself closer and closer to him.  The discomfort in Orion as he struggled against her made it plain as day that the feelings weren't mutual.

It made my blood boil, seeing how she forced herself on him that way.  I hate all people like her.  To the point that soon, I realised my body was acting on its own.

"Jun-" Orion managed to get out before I forced the girl off of him, pushing him aside and delivering a more than deserved slap all the way home.

She gasped in horror, putting a hand to her face and looking up at me in shock.  ".. Who.. the HELL do you think you are!?  How dare you slap me!!  You have no right to lay a finger on me; I don't care how good-looking or scary you think you are!!" She screamed in rage, her pretty little dolled-up face turning red.

Of course, I wasn't gonna be having any shit with her today.  Or ever.  I just looked at her long and hard, trying to use a face I'd learnt to keep people from approaching me at school.  "And don't you go thinking you can go rubbing up on men just because you think that you should be the center of everyone's attention.  You may have more history with him than I do, but you've already proven how unworthy you are to be with a guy like Orion." I glared daggers at the preppy girl, backing her out the door.  "And besides.  He's already seeing someone new, so you just back the fuck off.  That was just a small tap on the face, but I gueruntee that attitude of yours deserves way, way more than just a slap.  I don't care who you are; it doesn't excuse anything."
