DON'T PLAY SONG YET—

ETHANS P.O.V—

Yasmine was asleep and her body was resting on mine. She looked so peaceful.

My phone had rang a couple of times and I searched through my jeans pocket for it. There were countless amount of texts and missed calls from Grayson.

3 missed calls from Gray
Gray—
Ethan where are you?

Gray—
Where are you????

2 missed calls from Gray

Gray—
Helloooooo??

ME—
I'll be home soon DW

I finally texted back and sent the message.

I looked back Yasmine again and she was still asleep.

Deep down I felt bad that I'm only doing this so she can be my distraction, what if she feels a different way? She probably trusts me now because she was scared to have sex with me after what happened with Caleb.

Part of me was ashamed that I did this but another part of me knows that she's just a random girl whose just keeping me occupied for the time being.

Right now I don't feel anything for her but I did a little when I saw that she was really scared. I'm sure that feeling will go away soon so she can just be my distraction and nothing else.

Yasmines eyes fluttered open and she saw me staring at her.

"Were you staring at me whilst I was sleeping?" She asked and her voice cracked a little.
My eyes widened and I scratched the back of my head.

I scoffed "No I wasn't looking at you whilst you were sleeping."

We were still in the backseat of the car and she grabbed her shirt and slipped it over her head.

"Are you leaving?" I said whilst putting my hands around her waist and kissing her shoulder.
"Yeah I can't stay."

"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I have things to do."

"Like what? Getting beaten by your father?" I answered back quickly and Yasmine stayed quiet.
"Sorry I shouldn't have said that." I realised what I said.

"No you're right, my Dad doesn't like me staying out after school."
When will she finally get rid of that freak?

"Let me drive you home then." I said as I started putting on my clothes and climbing back into the drivers seat.
Yasmine went back into the passengers seat and I started driving.

I knew I had her where I wanted her, I had control over her now.

"Will you ever want to tell people about your Dad?" I asked her out of nowhere.

She furrowed her eyebrows and thought about it for a moment.
"I don't know but I just don't want anymore people getting involved like my social worker."
"You have a social worker?" I asked.

She replied "Yeah I do but she hasn't been visiting because she thinks that my Dad isn't drinking anymore."
"What made her think that?" I was pretty curious about Yasmines past because I knew she never told anyone about it.

"Because after my mom died, my social worker came my house and my Dad basically told her a bunch of shit so he would get the money from child protection services."

"So you're Dad doesn't really care?" I said and she shook her head.

"He Just gets really mad for no reason and once I showed up home late by a couple of minutes and he locked me in the basement for two days, would've been a couple hours but he forgot I was there." Yasmine explained and I saw a tear streamed down her face.
