ETHANS P.O.V—

I rushed Yasmine to the hospital and when she was being rolled into the operating theatre, I tried to call her name but she didn't respond.

"Hello Yasmine can you hear me?" One of the nurses tried to make her respond back but she was unconscious.

She got rushed to surgery to get the bullet out and Grayson and I stayed in the waiting room.

Gun shot.
"YAZ!"

Is all that would replay in my head, me holding the gun and seeing Yasmine fall to the floor.
Kendall got taken away by the police for attempted murder but I thought it should've been me.

I can't believe that I was holding that gun whilst she got shot. This would never have happened in the first place if I didn't try and take the gun.

"She'll Be Okay Ethan." Grayson put his hand on my back and nodded at me.
I kept my head low and waited.

Yasmine mom came running into the hospital with Allison and she saw me sitting on the chairs.
"What happened to her, how did this happen?" She asked impatiently as she was about to cry.

I swallowed the lump in my throat "She got shot at the school-"
"Who shot her?!"

I looked at Grayson and I knew I had to tell the truth.
"I did." I said and there was a silence.

Yasmine's moms lips parted and her jaw dropped.
"Why the hell did you shoot her?!" She yelled at me.

Grayson stepped in "It wasn't Ethan, Kendall was holding the gun too-"
"But he was holding the gun! How could you do this Ethan and after everything my daughters done for you!"

My voice cracked "I-I'm so sorry."
Tears rolled down my cheeks and I wiped them away with the sleeve of my shirt.

"It's your fault that Zack died, that kid Josh had a problem with YOU but Zack tried to stop it and it ended by him being stabbed. You've already caused one of my children to die and I don't want to lose another one!"
She said and Yasmine's mom stormed off with Allison following her.

She's right. I ruined everything.

2 HOURS LATER—

I stayed sitting in the seat and a doctor finally came out of the operating theatre.
Allison and Vanessa (aka Yasmine's mom) ran to the doctor and waited for him to say something.

"We were able to take the bullet out and now Yasmine's out of danger." The doctor said and they all sighed from relief.
"Can we see her?" Allison asked impatiently.

"Yes, She should be waking up now."
The Doctor took them to the room Yasmine was in but I stayed sitting down.

Grayson got up from his seat but he realised that I didn't move.
"Ethan let's go, Yasmine should be awake now."
I shook my head "You go, I don't wanna."

Grayson raised his eyebrow "Ethan she'll want to see you."
I chuckled "She won't wanna see me after what I did."

"Ethan stop saying that and let's go-"
"I SAID NO!" I snapped at him and I got up from the seat.

Grayson stood back and he looked at me scared "It's better for everyone if I just leave! I've ruined everyone's lives, if I wasn't here right now then Zack would still be alive, you'd still be friends with Nick and most importantly....Dad would still be here."
