Moving in with your boyfriend sucks at first.. until it's actually kind of nice, I guess. Don't get me wrong, the house is beautiful and Shawn's really allowing me to find myself which I really appreciate.
I just hope things aren't moving too fast.
"April, open the fucking door!" My brother is screaming and banging on the glass door. "I swear to god- you break this-"
"Lillian is pregnant,"
"'Hi, April, how are you?' 'Lovely weather we're having today, eh?' Woulda been nice- Lillian is- pregnant?!" Jack blinks a couple times and takes a water bottle from the fridge.
"So, I'm gonna be an aunt?"
"I'm gonna be a dad? I'm not ready for this!"
"Mhm, yeah, maybe not." I chuckle and Jack's blue eyes widen and Shawn walks in. "April- what the fuck!"
"Relax, I'm joking." I wink at him and see Shawn holding a large takeout bag and a new designer suit.
"You knocked someone up before me? Bro!" Shawn and Jack do that bro hug thing that I never really understood. I looked at the transparent suit cover Shawn was holding and what was behind it.
The clothing was actually gorgeous. Shawn just got back from LA, I haven't seen him in three days but the pictures from the photoshoot he'll show me later will for sure make up for it.
My eyes widen, did the two 'brothers' forget that I.., okay let's not even.
"Hi, babe." Shawn quickly kisses my lips and sweeps me off my feet. I feel my face redden, Shawn pulls back and his eyes crinkle as he smiles down at me. "I got food,"
"I got a hungry girlfriend waiting in the car, be right back." Jack runs out. I furrow my eyebrows and don't say a word. "He's your brother,"
"Step, brother. He's your friend!" Shawn and I laugh as we unpack his luggage.

"Hang on, mom. Give me a second," I breathe out and place my phone on my bed. I can't do today, I really can't.
I look outside the window in my room and see my mother's rental car pull up. On this day, last year, my grandfather passed away.
It's Thanksgiving Day now, I don't know how I'll ever recover. This used to be my favorite holiday. "Are you okay?" My dad interrupts my thoughts. I sniffle and shrug, turning around to him. "I should probably go out there, don't wanna keep her waiting so long." I joke and my dad chuckles.
"I love you, kid. Let me know how today goes. I'll take a ride out to visit your mothers family later if you want me to pick you up early, how does that sound?" My father asks me and I nod.
"Sounds good, thanks." I hurry down the stairs with my phone and a set of keys. "Don't forget to grab the dessert," my cousin shouts as I almost crash into the front door.
"Yep, thanks. I got it."

"Oh my god, hi!" April runs through the house to come and find me. I was just crying, ugh. She's gonna make fun of me.
"Hey, cuzzo." I smile as she settles her bags in the living room. "So, have you heard In My Blood yet?"
"Do you see my mascara smashed out all over my face? Yep. Look closely, Shawn makes me cry." I let out all of my feelings to my older cousin and she looks at me and goes "mood,"
"Well, he's stopping by a little later. He's so nervous, Stella. I told him we'd go see a movie, your choice."

"Are you ready for college, Stella?" Shawn taps on my shoulder and I pause my music. "Uh, yeah. I know what school I wanna study at. Debating on living there or driving. It's not that far from Manhattan." I tell him.
April, Shawn and I were on the subway. He insisted we should take the railway. Mr.MoneyBaggs over here, huh?
"I think you should dorm over there, maybe you'll meet a boy! Also, what're you listening to?" Shawn looks down at me and I shrug. "I dunno." I say, then hold my phone up to him. "Ah, I should've known." Shawn sees In My Blood and smiles. "Are you ready for Lost In Japan? You wanna hear it early?"
"Shawn, don't tease her. You'll kill her," April says in her most New York accent. "Oh my god- how did I pick up my accent so fast? I literally heard that!"
"Babe, you sound like that all the time," Shawn turns to April. "And you still stay with me?" She jokes. I turn Shawn back in my direction. "You really have Lost In Japan on you. Like right now?"
"Stella, hun, I have the whole album on my phone." Shawn replies and I feel my heart fall down to my ass. "Geez, babe. You're giving her a heart attack."
"Girl, when you heard Perfectly Wrong ya teared up." Wow his song titles have ADVANCED.
God, I fangirl over my cousin's boyfriend still.
