Within a second those classic blue ripped jeans were on the floor as our hot bodies flushed, nothing was stopping us now.
"Shawn, I love you." Her voice brought shivers to my body and I smiled, lustfully staring into those beautiful green eyes.
April is my drug, one simple touch and the intoxication is instant. She's addictive and manipulative. She's my lifeline and my strength, yet she's my weakness and I'm caving in.
An innocent kiss was exchanged between us. Pulling apart occasionally, but still our lips continued to brush. Our foreheads pressed together as she carefully felt down on my stomach. Her hands trembled as she caught hold of the bottom of my top.
"You must be an angel." She whispered, peering up at my face, flirtatiously smirking as her cheeks reddened. I pouted before closing my eyes as she continued to passionately kiss my lips which was driving me crazy.
"I'm no angel." My words holding a hint of a painful truth as her emerald orbs fall down to my now revealed torso. I'm a beast.
"Well, I think you are."
"Why?" I asked confused.
"How can someone look as breathtaking as you and not be an angel?" April spoke quietly. "That's the only explanation I can think of." She smiled.
I quietly laughed off the comment before kissing her on the end of her nose. "I have an idea," April eyes filled with a certain recognizable sparkle and I furrow my eyebrows sillily, scrunching my face, trying not to blush.
I slap her bum as she pulls me up to my feet and throws my shirt at me, quickly pulling a hoodie over her. "Trust me on this one," April rushes us down the stairs and outside, where the sun was beautifully setting.
"To the city?" I ask as April starts running down the block to the train station. As I'm catching up with her, she smirks and takes my hand. "So much better." April starts running again, dragging me along, I've never seen anything like this before. "Okay, let's jump over this track together.. 1.. 2.. 3!" We jumped and chuckled till we were out of breath.
"There's a lake over here, Lilian and I used to come out here to escape for hours on end." April starts as I focus my gaze on the pink and orange sunset, reflecting on this huge body of water.
This is more than a lake.
"This place is really important to me, when I was 13 I would come down here by myself and cry for hours about the stupid family situation, my school grades and- wow- this one kid who I hated man, he had such a big crush on me and when I told him I didn't like him, he got the whole 7th grade believing I was living with my father at the firehouse. I told him that if he continued, I would set his house on fire and delete his home number from the firehouse's phone book." April just chokes everything up and I look down at smile at her.
"What was the kid's name?" I asked as we walked towards the lake. "Jeffery," April literally starts laughing hysterically, falling to the floor.
I've been all over the place with April for the last couple years, every moment spent with her are unique and are worth cherishing forever. I am just now realizing how strong and creative she truly is. I've tried to figure her out, going out of my way and overthinking everything possible to just conclude that there's no one out there like her.
And I feel really sorry for her, she's always hurt and brought down every time without really shooting her shot, she's given no chance to truly shine and I'm sick of that.
She has my attention now, I am so in love with her and fall for her more and more everyday. She never deserved the pain she was punished with. April's got a bad reputation but I truly know what they don't.
I'm always thinking about her, let me stop and actually live in the moment. "Shawn! Stop! Put me down!" April cries full of uncontrollable laughter as I swept her over my shoulder. "Baby, I'll throw you in there." I say as she's struggling in my arms, pounding her fists on my back as I walk closer to the lake.
"Shawn, please! I'm afraid!" April stops laughing as she actually digs herself back in my arms. "Shit, sorry, baby." I put her down on the grass and look at her pout turn into a grin. "Just kidding!" April jumps on top of me and starts attacking me with tickles and kisses.
"You're truly one of a kind, I love you." I admit as I stare into those beautiful, innocent eyes. She smiles at me, tucking her hair behind her ear before kissing my lips. "Yeah," April chuckles and kisses me again. "I love me too."
"Oh! That's it," I giggle flipping us over on the grass, tickling and playing with her, never wanting this night to end.
