Chapter 21

"Clarke?!" The voice of my attacker called out and I could barely believe my own ears.

"Bellamy!?" I asked in shock and turned around as he stepped off me and I finally saw his face. Its him, hes alive, its really him.

"Oh my god! Your alive and your okay and-" I couldnt help but hug him. I was so shocked - in a good way- that i barely felt his arms wrap around me.

"Im so glad we found you" He said as he let go of me

"We?" I asked but he didnt get a chance to answer himself

"Clarke!" Finn exclaimed as he tackled me in a hug. "Your okay! What happened? Where is everyone? Are you hurt?" Finn bombered me with questions and held me at shoulder length as he took me all in.

Behind him I could see Bellamy look suspicously at Alex and Maggie, but to my relief they, all three of them kept quiet. Bellamy than hugged Monty, and they said a few things that I couldnt hear

"Im fine. Were fine, actually. About the rest of us, well, its a long story" I started and Finn helped me up from the ground and we all made a circle. Bellamy never taking his eyes of Alex and Maggie

"We were trapped by mountain men" Monty said and he gave Alex a look as if to tell Bellamy and Finn to watch out for him

"You what?" Both Bellamy and Finn said in unision. They slowely looked at each other and they looked utterly confused

"Like I said, its a long story. One that we don't really have time for at the moment. Long story short, we were taken by 'Mountain men' and taken to mount weather and locked up. Alex and Maggie helped us escape" I said making clear that they knew they could trust Alex and Maggie. "Everyone else is still there locked up and we need to get some papers that will tell us that Alex here is older than his brother Ash - who us in charge at the moment and the reason we were captured in the first place- and then Alex can take over and let us all go" I said quickly. 

We had to make it back before everyone was awake. We didnt have time to waste on all of our stories, we needed to get our people and get our of here.

"So its not just the grounders that are down here?" Bellamy asked, still looking uncomfortable with Alex and Maggie there.

"Yes" Alex spoke up for the first time " You are correct"

Bellamy raised an eyebrow at him "So are you enemies with the grounders? Or are you helping them by capturing our people?" He asked

Before Alex could answer, Maggie cut him off

"We really don't have time for this!" She said and I would thank her later for stopping what would have turned real ugly real fast

" I agree. Look, we need to find those papers and take them back to the base. Once we do that we can free all of our people and focus on all the other things. Many important things like the Ark and Octavia and getting to the safe place Lincoln was talking about but right now, we need to do this" I said and everyone nodded along with me

"Where are these papers" Finn asked 

"Near a waterfall. Should be near by" Monty said and both Finn and Bellamy nodded in acknowlegdement

"We just came from there. A five minute walk, shouldnt take long" Finn said and Alex nodded

"I told you it wasnt far from here" He said to Monty who scoffed at him

"Shouldnt we be going then?" Monty asked and we all nodded our heads

"Lets head on then. Like I said before, we dont have time to waste!" 

"This way" Alex said pointing forwards " If we can find the papers within an hour, we should be able to make it back before anyone else is up and looking for us. Or well, you two" He said and with that he started walking forwards

"Lets go then" I said while taking a look at both Bellamy and Finn standing on either side of me

Thank god they are okay
