Chapter 31

I wake up on the ground with Luke's arms both wrapped around me and my arms around his neck. My head lays on his bare chest and he is softly snoring.

"Oh Lukey" I whisper in his ear softly rubbing my lips on it.

"Gah! leave me alone I'm tired" he says.

I kiss his cheek. "wake up,lets go to bed" I say softly.

He opens his eyes and glances around. "we should go inside huh?"

"Yep."

He releases me and I stretch before standing up. He stands up beside me and flops his curls back. I crack up and lay my head on his shoulder.

"Morning sleepy head" I say.

"Gah I have a headache babe" he says quietly.

I stand on my tippy toes and kiss his forehead.

"Go to bed, I'll do the chores and I'll be back later." I say softly.

"Thanks so much. I love you" he says hugging me before walking in. I smile to myself and go feed the horses.

Then I turn them out in the paddock and walk into the kitchen. I find a coffee brewer and fix some for myself. I drink it and then wash the dishes. I grab some Advil and a cold bottle of water and walk silently up the stairs to our room. Luke is laying in bed almost asleep.

"Hey you okay?" I ask. He nods slowly.

I hold my hand out with the Advil and he quickly takes it and the water swallowing it quickly. He closes his eyes and I kiss his forehead.

"Listen Luke you sleep and I'll go to town and grab some stuff to make food and I'll cook lunch and maybe a suprise or two. I love you." I say before he nods and whispers "I love you too."

I walk out and run to the truck. I drive to the store and quickly find the ingredients for garlic bread and lasagna. Then I find ingredients for cookie dough cupcakes and cream cheese frosting. Then I find a big jar of nestle cookie dough to eat raw. Next I grab blue, green, orange, white, and black frostings and stuff to make a vanilla cake to decorate.

I grab some ice cream and then pay for it. I drive back to the ranch and put the groceries away.

I start the garlic bread first and then stick it in the oven while I start the lasagna. I slip the lasagna in the oven. I sit on the couch and watch a Disney movie until the oven goes off. I take out the break and lasagna and then put the cupcakes in. I close the oven and run upstairs.

Luke is asleep so I run my fingers on his face. I kiss his cheek and then his nose. I kiss his forehead and lastly his lips. Suddenly he flips me over on my back kissing me.

I laugh when he rolls back onto the bed.

"That was the best way to wake me up ever" he smiles kissing my head.

"You feel better?" I ask.

"Yep! Thanks"

"Lunch is ready"

He jumps up and darts out of the room. I laugh and run downstairs.

When I get downstairs he already has a plate fixed and is eating his lasagna.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" he says standing and grabbing my waist. I laugh and he leans down. I close my eyes until I feel sauce on my nose.

"Luke!" I laugh.

"Sorry" he pouts.

"Aww Luke get it off my nose" I giggle. He walks up hugging me to him and kissing my nose all the lasagna sauce comes off. I laugh and he holds me tightly to him,
