Safe wings

Chapter 36:

"Gavin you don't have to do this" I say softly.

"Yes I do, it's for your dad" he growls.

"My-my father?" I say.

"Yep, honey, you sure deserve it."

"Let me go now" I growl.

"Nope" he tries to grab me but I let out a small whistle as I dodge him. Trigger rears up. I lunge under his neck and I pull his head down. He bows and I climb on.

I ride into the woods but Gavin jumps onto Mrya.

I find a horse treat in my pocket quickly. I hold it out and Myra prances and Gavin, having never ridden a horse, looses his balance and throws his gun. I hold onto Triggers mane and lean down grabbing the gun.

I hold it at Gavin.

"Don't move" I hold one hand on the gun and begin tugging off triggers rope halter.

After pulling it off I untie it quickly.

I walk up behind Gavin and tie his hands and then grab mrya by her halter and giving her treat.

I pull trigger down and he bows. I climb on never letting go of Myra's halter. She follows close to our side and I glance at Gavin.

When we get to the house Luke sees Gavin and eyes him warily.

Instantly Trevor yanks Gavin from the horse and holds him by the collar.

"If you touched our baby girl" he growls.

Luke runs to me hugging me and pulling me up on my tiptoes.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

"I'm fine Luke he didn't touch me but I got him"

"Good" he says kissing my head.

"Get Gavin out of here, take him to the prison" Luke says. I nod.

Trevor shoves Gavin into the truck and then leaves.

Luke hugs me tightly to him and I kiss his cheek.

"Im here" I say.

He nods kissing me again.

Josh runs outside.

"Guys! IZZY IS ALIVE SHES GONNA MAKE IT!" He yells.

I clap.

"Oh my god good!" I scream. I run from Luke and hug Josh.

"She's alive, our izzy is alive" I say. he hugs me tighter.

"I know, I'm so happy"

"We can get her soon, but she has a lot of injuries, including a broken leg and arm, and varying headaches, and many scars." Josh says.

"Wow"

"And she's staying here with you." he says.

"R-really?"

"Yes!" he says. I hug him tighter before releasing him and jumping up and down.

"IZZY IS MINE!!" I yell.

"Let's go get her in the morning?" I ask.

"Sure" Josh says smiling mysteriously.

Luke has the same smile.

"I love you guys" I say.

Luke pulls me backwards into him and kisses my head.

"I love you too" he says.

Josh nods "your the best sister ever, shhh don't tell izzy" we all laugh.

Soooo guys I'm so so sorry for the short chapter but school has started plus I'm nearing the end of this book... DONT WORRY THERE WILL BE A SEQUAL

And my classes are all advanced placement and I have some pre-ap classes and lots of stuff to do plus Spanish so I try to write alot.
