Chapter 23: Revealed

Omniscient POV

"Jin!" Luhan woke up with a start and covered with sweat. He slicked his hair back and panted. "Luge? What's wrong? What time is it?" asked Xiumin. He looked at the clock. 5:32 a.m He groaned. "Sorry I woke you." he said. Xiumin was already asleep and Luhan fell back onto his bed. The nightmare seemed too real and it was the same one he had back in China. It couldn't mean anything, it's just a dream. Luhan was too alert to go back to sleep so he decided to go out to the living room. Jin was sitting on the couch. "Good morning Jin." He said. "Ah, good morning." she replied. "Up early are we?" she asked. "Couldn't sleep." he said. She nodded. "Um Luhan?" she said. "Yeah?" he asked.

"I can't do this anymore, I need to tell Lay. its not fair to keep him in the dark and it hurts me because of how confused he feels right now. He keeps asking me if anything is wrong." she said. "Do you know who you're going to choose?" he asked. She shook her head. "I'm still too confused right now but I can't keep lying to Lay, its unfair to him. He deserves the truth. You understand right?" she asked. Luhan nodded. "Of course I understand and if you want we'll tell him together and make him see reason." he said "thanks Luhan." she responded. He hugged her and kissed her forehead. "We'll figure it out."

TAO'S POV

I woke up and wanted a drink of water and headed to the kitchen when I heard voices from the living room. "It's Luhan and Jin again." I thought. I listened in. "I can't do this anymore, I need to tell Lay. its not fair to keep him in the dark and it hurts me because of how confused he feels right now. He keeps asking me if anything is wrong." she said. "Do you know who you're going to choose?" he asked. She shook her head. "I'm still too confused right now but I can't keep lying to Lay, its unfair to him. He deserves the truth. You understand right?" she asked.

"Of course I understand and if you want we'll tell him together and make him see reason." he said "thanks Luhan." she responded. I peeked quickly and saw Luhan hyung kiss Jin. I bit my lip. I knew my answer and I wasn't sure how to tell Lay but I couldn't just sit back and watch, today I would tell Lay hyung; no matter what.

JIN'S POV

As morning passed everyone woke up. I was really nervous about telling Lay but I knew it was the right thing to do. Everyone decided to go and watch a movie and then go to lunch. In the aisle beside me sat Lay and Kyungsoo and behind me was Luhan and Tao. As the lights dimmed and the movie started both guys reached for my hand. After awhile I looked over at Lay and saw that he had fallen asleep. "Not good." I thought. I looked over at Kyungsoo and saw that he too saw that Lay had fallen asleep. I saw him smile and he wrapped an arm around my waist. I anxiously tapped my fingers. I felt a squeeze on my shoulder and Luhan gave me a reassuring smile.

The movie ended and I disentangled myself from him before anyone else saw. We headed out to a fried chicken restaurant since Kai won Rock Paper Scissors. The entire time he was singing "I love fried chicken! I love it!" and skipping. Lay and Luhan sat next to me in the restaurant and I was grateful towards Luhan but Kyungsoo kept giving him a death glare. Luhan squeezed my hand reassuringly as I tried figuring out what I would say to Lay. As we were walking back, we were about to cross an empty street. I kept looking at Lay not sure when to tell him when all of a sudden I hear "Lay, Jin is cheating on you with Luhan Hyung!" yelled Tao.

I looked at Tao bewildered. I could feel everyone look at both me and Luhan. "Jin? is that true?" asked Lay. I shook my head. "No no no no no! of course that not true!" I cried out. I looked over at Kyungsoo who had a look of betrayal on his face. "Don't lie Jin! I heard you with Luhan talking about how you felt guilty keeping that a secret from Lay! And I saw Luhan kiss you!" said Tao. "What? you have it all wrong!" "please Lay you have to believe me!" I exclaimed. I saw him look at me questionably. "I don't know what to believe." he said. I turned to Kyungsoo. "I trusted you." He whispered.

Both of them walked across the street when I heard the sound of tires squealing against the road. I saw a car coming full speed right towards Kyungsoo and Lay. I ran out onto the street and used all of my strength to push them as far away as I could and then I saw a bright light come towards me.
