Jin's POV

The light blinded me for a second but my eyes adjusted And then I saw on both sides of the stadium, rows and rows of people going up to the ceiling. I breathed in and puffed out my chest in pride. "Wow!" I exclaimed. I looked around at the sight. I saw guys stretching and practicing with others and I walked down to the contestants waiting area.

"Jiiiiiiiin!!!" I heard yells coming from above the area and I looked up. The guys were waving enthusiastically at me. I awkwardly waved back at me. "Jin fighting!" they yelled. I nodded and started to loosen up my body with katas. "Well, well if it isn't the princess, you actually came. I'm surprised." I rolled my eyes and got up. "Hey Sang Kyu, nice seeing you here." He was taken aback by my politeness and he was speechless for a moment. "Did you knock yourself in your head too hard or something?" he asked. "No, but thanks for asking." I stuck out my hand. "May the best one win."

Now he was extremely confused. "Shut up Jin, I always planned on winning and I can't wait to see you in a maid outfit." he leered at me and walked away. Chung-Ho walked up to me. He smirked. "Didn't I tell you that would work?" he said. "Hehe, yeah thanks for that. My sudden decorum must have thrown him off." I said. "Guys like him are all in it for the reaction, most don't even fulfill their threats no matter how big and scary they may look." he said. "Anyways, I need to go, you can take care of yourself here right?" I nodded.

"Yeah." I leaned against a pole and sat down, assessing my competition. My eyes caught the white haired guy again, he was sitting down a bench, hunched over his phone. I took a risk and walked over to him and sat next to him. I peeked over at him, trying to see what it was he was paying attention to, it was a game.

He suddenly looked at me and took off his earbuds. He scanned me with his eyes. "Choi Jin, 17 years old. Born in Seoul, favorite food: jjajjangmyeon but you haven't eaten that since you were 12 due to the accident with your father. I'm sorry. Brothers: Chung-Ho, Shin, and Dae-Hyun. Height: 5'5. Weight: 48kg You were enrolled in Baes martial arts academy when you were 14 years old and you adapted quickly making you a prodigy of the martial arts except you made an enemy of Sang Kyu. You are currently working as EXO's bodyguard and are in a relationship with Zhang Yixing."

He prattled on with facts of me. He nodded approvingly. "You are a worthy foe, I hope to see you in the last match." he said. "Um, um how do you know those things about me?" I asked. "If you wish to beat your opponent you must know them as well as the back of your hand." he replied. "Okaaaaay. Who are you?" I asked. "Kim Jinyoung, Age 18 at your service miss." he replied. He stood up and then turned to me then he suddenly kneeled in front of me holding his right hand over his heart.

"Ah, what's going on here?" I asked. "I have heard of a rumor of a girl, who has a burning fighting spirit who protects those in need and is said to have martial art skills that cannot be compared. And I have found you, sosaeng-nim." he said. "Sosaeng-nim?" I asked. "Please take me on as your apprentice! I wish to learn from the best!" he exclaimed. "Hey, please get up! I don't know who this girl is but that isn't me! I am not a martial arts prodigy, I still have a lot to learn now please got up people are staring!" I yelled out a bit.

"Oh, as humble as always. As I suspected you to be." He stood up. "I'm sorry if I alarmed you, but your profile fits her exactly." "You have the wrong person, I need to go." I said. "Wait!" he grabbed my hand. "I will see you in the final match and once we fight, if I win. You must teach me all that you know. It is only fair." he said. "I-I I won't make any promises." I walked off a bit unnerved. "That was weird." I whispered. "Whats weird?" I spun around.

It was Luhan. "Nothing, don't worry about it Oppa." I said. He nodded. "Okay." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "Here." I opened it. It was a small pendant. "The lady said it was for good luck, that it would protect you during your matches. I couldn't bear to see my little sister get hurt anymore." I smiled. "Awwww Luhan oppa, you shouldn't have." I said. He smiled back and ruffled my hair. I hugged him and hung on. "Oppa, after the tournament can we go shopping and you can buy me everything I want?" I asked. "Wait just a minute." he said. "But I thought I was your baby sister, that means you get to buy me stuff." I pouted.

"Ah-ah." Luhan was all flustered and confused that it was too funny to keep in. "Hahhahahaha, I'm just kidding Luhan!" He looked kind of mad but he couldn't help but laugh too. "Fine, but I will treat you to some hot pot when this is over." he said. "Luge! you shouldn't have!" Xiumin came up behind him and slung an arm around his shoulders. "What's going on?" asked Lay. "Luge is inviting us out to eat later!" said Xiumin. "Wait-wait I didn't ask you-" but Luhan was cut off by cheering that he just accepted it.

"Okay, okay everyone lets go back up the bleachers." said Suho. "Lets give Jin some space to concentrate." I smiled gratefully and he nodded back. I walked back to Chung-Ho and sat down. "It's going to start soon, the first match." he said.

A man walked up to the center of the stadium with a microphone. "Hello ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the 26th annual martial arts competition." The audience roared and cheered. "Thank you all for being here to witness the strength of our challengers and we hope you enjoy yourselves! Now, let the tournament begin!" The building seemed to shake with excitement. The man walked off and the first two challengers walked up.

They bowed at each other but their faces were very scary like murder. The referee explained the rules to them and then held the whistle to his mouth. *tweeeeeeet* he blew the whistle and the two challengers went into fighting stances. Indeed let the tournament begin.
