Chapter 25: Advice

Omniscient POV

3 weeks had passed and Jin had still not woken up. The doctors were baffled, the swelling of her brain had gone down and she was healing well but she still remained in a coma. Everyone would go to visit her by themselves and do whatever, talking to her, reading to her, or just to go and be there. Throughout the entire time though always there was either Lay or D.O. They barely ate and they had dark circles under their eyes from lack of sleep. "Jin, please wake up. Everyone needs you...I need you."

JIN'S POV

"Jin."

"Jin."

"Jin!"

Huh? who's there? I opened my eyes and saw a white room with a couch and a man sitting on it. I rubbed my eyes. "Where am I ?" I asked. The man turned. I gasped. "Appa?" He smiled. "Anyeoong, my little girl." he said "Appa!" I cried and raced over to him to give him a hug. I cried and cried holding on to him, afraid to let go. "Shh, shh, shh. it's okay, Appa is here. Appa's got you." He murmured. I looked up at him. "I missed you." I said. "I missed you too." he said. We both sat down on the couch. "Am I dead?" I asked. He laughed. "Aniyo, we're at the diverge." He said. "The diverge?" I repeated.

"Yes the diverge, it is a place where people like you and me stay at. its like a waiting room." he said. "Do you see the two doors on either side of the room? The one on the left takes you away to a place of happiness, of those no longer living and the one on the right takes you back to the living." he said. "Then we can leave?" I asked. "If you choose to, yes." he replied. I looked longingly at the door to the right. "You want to go back don't you?" he asked. I shook my head. "I can't." I said. "You won't." he said.

"Listen Jin, I know times can be troubling and things don't always go the way you plan for them too but things happen for a reason and it up to you on how you deal with them. I know I haven't been there to watch you grow up but you're a girl that doesn't give up without a fight and running away from the won't solve anything." he said. I smiled. "You sound just like Luhan, but how do I know if they even want me back?" I asked. Appa stood up. "Come." he said. A window appeared on the wall. "Look." I peered through the window and saw Lay and Kyungsoo, each of them holding on to both of my hands. They looked so gaunt and unhappy.

"Why won't you wake up? I'm not mad. I just want you to be happy." said Lay. "I'm sorry I pushed you, I just wanted you to love me back but not like this." said Kyungsoo. "Come back to us." My heart felt heavy. The door on the right opened. I walked towards it. I looked back at Appa. "Why did you have to leave me?" I asked him. He looked at me sadly. "I didn't want to leave you, ever but I had to protect you. The day you're mother died, I promised that I would keep you out of harms way. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I had let you get hit." he said. I smiled with tears running down my face.

I held out my hand. "Come with me." I said. He shook his head. "I can't, it's not my time." "but I need you! with me.." I yelled. "In time i'll come back." he said. "Promise me." I said. "I promise." he said. "Now go and live your life. I'm so proud of you, my sweet Jin. I love you and please act more like a kid for once!" I laughed. "I love you too Appa." I stepped through the door and a bright light shown. My eyes opened and I squinted under the fluorescents. I swallowed hard, my mouth was dry. I lifted my head up a little, to my right I saw Lay asleep and to my left Kyungsoo was sleeping too.

I pulled my hands away from theirs and pushed myself up and bit. "Mmmm." Lay moved his hand around until he found mine. I smoothed out both of their hairs. "Lay, Kyungsoo wake up." I patted their cheeks and they groggily woke up, rubbing their eyes. They opened their eyes and looked at me. I smiled at how stunned they looked. "Hi, long time no see." I whispered. "Jin!" they both yelled and they wrapped me in a hug. I chuckled softly. "I thought you were never going to wake up!" cried Lay.
