“ Chapter 12 - Reality ”

*Tzuyu's Pov*

I open my eyes to be welcomed by the warm sunlight. I blink and blink again to adjust my eyes. A smile forms on my face remembering last night before I look beside me.

The smile instantly fades away when I find him not beside me.

Was it all a dream?

No, it can't be....

Or was it?

Throwing the sheets away from my body, I run outside, only then I notice my surroundings. The empty light blue colour of the walls.

I am in his house.

It was not a dream.

A sigh of relief escapes my mouth before I walk around his house. While walking, a room caught my interest but sadly, it was locked, giving me no choice but to walk away.

I found him in the kitchen, making something while humming a song. Taking advantage of him not noticing my presence, I walk towards him without making any sound.

I wrap my hands around his waist and rest my head on his back as I feel his body stiffening before it relaxes.
I don't want to deny it because I do feel it. I do feel my heart racing whenever I am near him.

I feel the shivers run down my body when I wrapped my arms around him and after relaxing myself, they disappeared. But my heartbeat never slows down whenever he is there.

What are you making? I ask him.

Egg rolls. He replies before turning around, causing me to unwrap my hands.

He places the two plates that he held in his hands on the table and gestures me to sit. I sit in front of him before, the smell of egg rolls hits my nostrils, instantly causing me to look down at the food and gulp.

Eat. We have to leave soon. He smiles before taking a bite. I glance at the clock to see it's already eleven.

Where are we going? I ask him before taking a bite and instantly, I felt like I am in heaven.

Are you sure, you made it? I ask him, surprised at the heavenly taste, my question to him long forgotten.

I live alone for a reason, Tzu. I nod at his answer before continuing to stuff my mouth.

you'll choke at this speed. He laughs at me before taking a tissue and wiping my mouth causing me to stiffen.

Such a baby you are. He says before cupping my cheeks and whispering while smiling genuinely,

Well, he sure do know, how to make a girl's heart flutter.

Where do you wanna go? He asks me and I look around, excited before pointing at the rollercoaster.

I wanted to go to amusement park, so, Mingyu said why not. So, here we are, deciding where should we go first.

Seriously? You sure? He asks, shocked and I keep on nodding and jumping with excitement.

Let's go! Without waiting for him to reply, I grab his arm and drag him to the line. After taking the tickets, we wait for our turn.
