~Chapter 25: Thief of a sister~

(Jon pov)
I woke up the next morning because of a knock at the door. I opened the door and saw Renee's aunt with Kenzie "hey Jon" "hey" I said as she handed me mackenzie "hi my beautiful princess" I said looking at mackenzie she has grown a lot. And she was teething much more now. "Come on in" is said to Renee's aunt "oh no I gotta get home I got a lot to take care of" I nodded and gave her a hug. "Be safe call us when you make it home" "will do" she said back and drove off. I brought mackenzie upstairs I kissed Kenzie's dimples as she smiled and seemed to be happy to see us. "You're growing a lot princess" I said to her. Renee looked over when waking up. She gasped "Kenzie!" She said happily but in a sleepy voice. I handed Mackenzie to her and she kissed her "I missed you so much babygirl, you're hair has grown and you're growing" she said to her and mackenzie chewed on her teething toy. Just then the doorbell rang. "I got it darlin, oh and good morning" i said to her kissing her. "Good morning baby" I said to her. I ran downstairs answering the door I opened it... and saw my sister. "What the hell are you going here!?" I said trying not to scream. "Jon I need help, two dudes are after me because I owe them money" "jade I told you 10 years ago stop fucking with that shit and you don't listen I will not put my family in danger for you go now!" Just the Renee came downstairs and saw me upset "what's wrong baby?" She said, she came to the door with Mackenzie in her hands she looked at my sister she smiled at her slightly. "Hi, you must be my brothers wife" she said to Renee. Renee nodded "hi I'm renee you must be jade" she said waving "yes" she said "come on jade we need to talk" I said shoving her outside and closing the door leaving Renee inside "why the fuck are you here I told you after what you did you're dead to me!" "Jon I need a place to stay I'm homeless I can't get a job people are after me back in Cincinnati so I came here to get you're help... Jon I know I'm a horrible person and I deserve nothing.. but please give me a chance I've been through hell and back I want to change my life around" she said starting to cry. I sighed. "Jade I don't want my family In danger" I told her "I promise I'll keep them out of everything that's happening at home." She said "fine you can stay here for a month" "that's all I need thank you so much bubba" she said hugging me. Bubba is a nickname she has for me. I walked her into my house and Renee was feeding Kenzie potatoes "darlin" is said to Renee. "Yes babe?" "Jade is gonna be staying with us for a little while if that's ok with you" I said to her "of course it is" she replies with a smile. She walked over to Renee  "thank you so much" she said hugging her. "Damn jon what'd you do to get her she's gorgeous" jade said smiling "I know right she's stunning, I don't know how I got someone like her but she's stuck with me now, come on so I can show you your room" she followed me as I smiled and winked at Renee

(Renee pov)
I didn't have a problem with Jon's sister being here... but I was a bit worried because I wasn't sure if she was still dealing. After Jon showed her around she asked to hold mackenzie, she held her for a few minutes then suddenly said "sorry I'll be back" she walked outside.

(Jade pov)
I'm jade, Jon's sister.. me and my brother have had a rough past and I was thankful he'd let me stay here but.. im still dealing and I owe two men $2,000 each. I took the drugs I was supposed to sell to them and smoked them at a party, it was so immature of me, and now they are looking for me. I was outside because I knew they'd show here, they pulled up in a black van and I walked up to them. "Where the fuck is the money" one of them men named George asked. "In two weeks I'll have it I promise, my brother is a pro wrestler he makes millions.. I'll just steal it from him" I told them. "If you don't have our money in two weeks I'm sending our men" he said and drove off. I sighed, yeah I felt bad using Jon and Renee just to steal money from them but.. it needed to be done and I didn't have any income. I walked back in the house and saw Jon looking at me and Renee looking at me "who was that?" Jon asked. "No one just my friend, I know a few people out here" I said lying to him. He nodded "so bubba how are you?" Renee choked on her food. Jon patted her back. "Bubba? Okay now that's adorable" I laughed. "Been calling him that since we were little" jon laughed at Renee. "I've been pretty good" me and Jon spent the rest of the day catching up Renee stayed upstairs with Mackenzie which was kind of odd.

(Renee pov)
I was really happy jon and his sister were getting along again.. I mean yeah I felt a little left out because Jon had barley spoke to me all day that day but it's his sister so I get it. I walked downstairs and saw Jon and jade laughing and cooking. I sighed a bit. I went to the refrigerator and got a bottle of water jon finally noticed me and said "hey" not even a "hey darlin" or "hey beautiful" which made me upset but I ignored it "hey" I said to him with a bit of an attitude "what's wrong?" He asked "nothing" I said walking upstairs

(Jon pov)
I sighed as Renee walked upstairs "You're in trouble" Jade said to me. "I know" I told her. "You haven't really said anything to her today.. maybe you should go talk to your wife Jon" "I know I haven't talked to her it's because I just want to make sure you feel at home and safe" "I'm fine bubba, go and talk to your wife" I nodded and went upstairs I walked into the room and saw Renee laying down while mackenzie was asleep she looked at me and turned the other way "darlin" I said to her sad that she turned away from me. She didn't respond so I came and laid down beside her "what's wrong beautiful, and don't say nothing" I said to her "I don't wanna mess up anything with you and your sister.. but you haven't really spoken to me today, I know I can't have all of your attention but just a few kisses throughout the day would help" she said quietly "you're so beautiful, I'm sorry I just got caught up with my sister" "it's okay" I leaned in and kissed her "I was thinking, and we've never been on a family vacation..  we should look into that, we have our savings in the safe we can use" I said to her "yeah that sounds nice.. Kenzie is starting to be very observant I'm sure she'd like a vacation"

(Author pov)
Jon and Renee were talking about the vacation they wanted to take, they talked about the money they had saved in a lock box in the house.. meanwhile jade listened in on this conversation finding out they had money somewhere in the house she was now on the search for it..
