Chapter 12

*Chase is now 10 weeks*
Chase's POV:

Chase:"Babe wake up!! We have to leave in 15 minutes! Wake up"
I was smacking Drew with a pillow laughing. He was laughing too. We both knew he was already awake but this was more fun. He sat up and bear hugged me so i couldnt hit him with the pillow. He pulled me down with him so we were both laying on the bed.
Chase: "Babeeeeeeeeeee"
Drew: "What time is it?"
Chase: "10:30 in the morning"
Drew: "okay okay ill get up and changeeeeee"
Chase: "be ready in 5 minutes if u want to stop at Mc Donald's drive-thru for breakfast on the way there"
With that Drew sat up real quick and i ran down the stairs to say bye to Sofia. But then i remembered she was at work
Drew: *yelling from upstairs*"I cant find my car keys!! Have you seen them???"
Chase: "I have them!! Lets goooooooo"
He came running down the stairs in slacks and a button up tshirt he had ironed last night.
Chase: "Ya missed a button"
Drew: "oh"
He fixed the button and we both left the house. I was wearing a white shirt and blue skirt with pastal flowers. I didnt love wearing the skirt but it was comfy and pretty cute. The maternity jeans i had bought a few weeks ago didnt fit anymore. I probably should have bought some a few sizes bigger when i went shopping with Sofia. But I found a DIY life hack video that showed me how to make them bigger so i was going to do that later.
Drew locked the house up and we head out. We were both relatively excited to get the first pictures of our baby.
*at the doctor's office*
Nurse: "its nice to meet you. Youre name is?"
Chase: "nice to meet you also, my name is Chase"
Nurse: "Nice too meet you Chase, and is this your boyfriend? The father i presume?"
Chase: "Yes um this is Drew"
Drew: "Nice to meet you
Nurse: "Nice to meet you too Drew. Okay are we ready to get some baby pictures??"
Chase: "Yes please ! We've been so excited to come in and see our little one."
Nurse: "Wonderful!"
The nurse positioned the screen toward us and put the gel on my stoamch and started the ultrasound.
Nurse: "And here is your little one right there"
The nurse pointed at the baby and Drew squeezed my hand
Drew: *whispering* "that's our baby"
I nodded with a smile plastered on my face and Drew kissed me.
Nurse: *slightly shocked/surprised* "Oh!"
Immediately me and Drew became serious
Chase: "what?"
Drew: What! Whats wrong with the baby!"
Nurse: "no no nothing is wrong with the baby, but you see right there"
the nurse pointed to the screen and we nodded still confused and concerned
Nurse: "Right there is two more little feet"
Chase: *muttering* "W-wh-what?"
Nurse: "You're having twins"
She moved the sonogram slightly to attempt to make both babies visible. I sat in shock. I felt Drew burst in excitement but I was too shocked. Twins??
Drew: "Babe we are having Twins!! Twins!!!"
I felt my face turn pale
Chase: "I-Im hav-havinging tw-twins?"
Drew: "Babe are you okay ? You turned white"
Chase: "Twins. Im having twins"
Drew: "babe its okay just breath"
Nurse: "I think Chase needs some air and time to process. This happens to a lot of young people when they find out theyre having twins.Im going to have the pictures sent over to your house by the end of the week. Get some fresh air Chase"
Drew: "thank you"
With that we left the exam room and made our way outside. I was really having twins? Me and Drew talked about it but just jokingly i was not prepared for one baby but two is just something else. I mean dont get me wrong i was excited. But wow
