Call Me Chase

Chapter 19

Chase's POV:
Hannah and my dad got at it and eventually after Hannah left I bought out the muffins. The girls ate mostly the chocolate one, I ate the pumpkin ones, and my dad ate the blueberry ones. After we ate some i put the rest of them away and we took the girls and Shadow to the park.
Me and my dad watched the girls play with Shadow in the grass. It made me pretty excited to be able to have my twins playing at the park with Shadow one day.
Chase: "So you guys are moving in down the block?"
Lucas: "Yeah I have my stuff heading over here. For the most part we are buying new furniture i just bought the girls' toys and some pictures we have most of our clothes in the car"
Chase: "What about Hannah"
Lucas: "I set her up to have a one year lease for a studio apartment. After that shes on her own"
Chase: "Oh"
Lucas: "If you arent okay with me being so close we can find somewhere else. I havent signed yet"
Chase: "No no itd be nice to have you guys close. I mean mom isnt going to help me out. Itd be nice to have you to help when Sofia cant."
Lucas: "Chase I want you to move in and raise your twins in my home."
Chase: "Dad i like living with my boyfriend-"
Lucas: "He can come too"
Chase: "Dad.. we already set everything up at Sofia's. Youre going to be down the block. Ill take the twins all the time. They'll be in your life Dad. I promise you"
Lucas: "Okay. But if anything happens youre more than welcome to live with me"
Chase: "Okay Dad. Thank you"
Lucas: "I missed a lot of time i dont want to miss anymore"
Chase: "i know dont worry"
There was a moment of silence and my stomach growled. We had been here for about awhile. It was about 3.
Lucas: "I guess the twins are hungry"
I laughed and agreed
Chase: "Drew should be home, lets go pick him up and take the girls to eat. Theres this diner a few blocks down that i think they'll like."
Lucas: "Cherry's Diner?"
Chase: "Yeah! How did you know? There's like 6 different food places right there"
Lucas: "I used to take you there before I had to leave... It was my favorite too. Especially the peach pie"
Chase: "The peach pie is the absolute best. I only get it from Cherry's"
He smiled at me and called the girls over. The twins and Shadow came running
Chase: "Okay we are going to head home and get washed up then we are going out to eat. Sound like a plan?"
The girls nodded and we went to the car.
When we got home Drew was sitting on the porch looking through the mail.
Drew: "Youre here!"
Chase: "Why are you outside!?"
Drew: "I forgot my key inside when i went to school"
Chase: "Why didnt you call me?"
Drew: "My phone is dead"
Chase: "What about the spare? Is it gone?"
Drew: "Oh yeah!!! I forgot we had one"
We all laughed and i pulled my key out.
Chase: "Everyone get washed up we are going to eat."
Drew: "Where to?"
Chase: "Cherry's Diner. Im craving pumpkin pie  right now"
Drew looked at me with a huge smile, i returned it with a look of confusion
Chase: "What?"
Drew: "Pumpkin!"
Chase: "What ?? What are you on about dork"
I laughed at him and he held my arm
Drew: "Pumpkin is your first pregnancy craving"
I paused and i thought about it. He was right Ive unrealizingly been eating pumpkin everything.
I smiled at him and laughed
Chase: "Well i guess one of them really likes pumpkin spice"
