Chapter 27

Chase's POV:
I came home after about half an hour, Drew was up waiting in the living room. I sat with him on the couch and rested my head on his chest.
Chase: "Im sorry"
Drew: "Dont be hun, I get it, its okay"
Chase: "Things have been hard and youve been distant and i just panicked i was afraid"
Drew: "Hey you dont have to be afraid I choose you. I'll always choose you."
Chase: "I know thats what you say but I'm so afraid of things changing. And the things people are saying have been hurting"
Drew: "The things people have been saying? What things? What people?"
Chase: "People from school have been texting my on social media. And I know my name has been a buzz at school"
Drew: "What do you mean??"
Chase: "Come on you cant tell me no one told you anything.. People know about us at school right?"
Drew: "Well yeah I'd assume. I mean I post about you on social media and I talk about you"
Chase: "But no one says anything?"
Drew: "No. Who tells you stuff I'll set them straight"
Chase: "No..No babe its okay. Just be here with me. Thats enough"
Drew: "I love you"
Chase: "I love you more"
Drew: "I love you most"

We ended up falling asleep on the couch which Shadow at our feet. I woke up at 9am, Drew had left, probably for school. My dad walked into the living room with a plate of pancakes and bacon and a cup of coffee.
Lucas: "Morning sleepy"
Chase: "Morning"
Lucas: "Hungry?"
Chase: "Yes actually"
Lucas: "Good here ya go"
Chase: "Thank you"
He put the plate down on the coffee table in front of me. Shadow gave me puppy eyes and i knew i needed to feed her first. I walked into the kitchen and poured her a cup of food and gave her fresh water. I pat her head and went back for my food. Dad made chocolate chip pancakes and turkey bacon. I finished eating and put my plate in the dishwasher. My Dad had left for work after giving me breakfast. It was only me and Shadow in the house So i went downstairs and showered before sitting in the nursery for awhile. It was mostly finished, we tore one wall down between two of the rooms because it was cracking at the tops and bottoms. We were going to add a wall with one door frame in place of the wall we tore down. When they started getting a little bit older we would add a door in. Both rooms were painted yellow. Dinosaurs and butterfly decals going through both rooms. They could decide what they wanted the room to be painted when they got older. I smiled and went on with the day it wasn't going to be a busy day today everyone else was busy but i wanted to relax.
