Chapter 31

Chase's POV:

After we ate, Drew volunteered to do dishes, to which there were no objections. At around 12 pm I was exhausted and decided to take a nap
"Drew Wake me up when you're mom gets here okay?"
"Okay sounds like a plan"
I gave him a fast kiss and went downstairs to our room. Stopping to look into the nursery. The renovations were finished, instead of 2 separate nurseries we had an arch way opening them up to each other. I smiled and continued to my room to lie down.
I wasnt sure how long I had been asleep but was woken up by the sound of Drew's voice.
"Chase, time to get up. Both our moms are here"
I didnt respond and shifted in my place to lay on my side, unwilling to get up. I felt the bed move as Drew crawled in laying down beside me.
"Come on, time to get up" Drew brushed my hair back and kissed my neck, i giggled in response.
"Okay okay" I replied turning around to face him. I smiled and kissed his nose before sitting up.
I checked my hair to make sure it wasnt too messy before walking upstairs along side Drew. I checked the clock at the top of the stairs to check the time.
"Drew its 5:30! I wanted to start dinner 4 hours ago!!!"
"I know but I wanted to let you sleep and so my mom started it and then your mom came now theyre both in the kitchen finishing up"
"Oh no I feel terrible dinner was my responsibility they werent supposed to work so hard on getting everything ready"
"Hey dont feel bad youre the pregnant one. I dont want you to be too tired tonight. I have a suprise for you"
"What kind of suprise?"
"Its a secret"
I smiled at him and we continued to the living room where the rest of our family was.
I helped my mom and Sofia finish dinner up and we sat down to eat. I kept getting pains in my stomach. At first it went unnoticed by the family but halfway through dinner my wincing was caught by Drew.
Drew:"Chase whats wrong? You keep like flinching"
Chase:"Dont worry its probably nothing"
Sofia: "If its causing discomfort its probably something"
Chase: "I-Ive been getting these pains in my stomach randomly since Drew woke me up"
Luca: "Where?"
Chase: "around here?" I pointed to the area where I felt them the most and a look of concern fell across the faces of all 3 adults at the table.
Chase: "What? Whats wrong?"
Jena: "Hun when are you due?"
Chase: "in about 12 weeks. Why? Whats this about"
Jena: "We think youve started having contractions"
Drew: "What!?"
Chase: "But its 2 months early!"
Jena: "Come on lets get you to the hospital"
Sofia: "I'll stay here with the kids. You three take him"
We all climbed into the car my mom and dad in the front seat, Drew sitting next to me, visibly distressed.
"Hey are you okay Drew?"
"Yeah just a little preparental panic I think"
I smiled at him before mouthing 'its okay' to him.
