Call Me Chase

Chapter 33

*Chase is 36 weeks*
Chases POV
Since Christmas we havent done much. Today all of us (minus Sofia) were staying in. My mom had been over and they called a snow day because of the snowstorm outside, so everyone [in the family] had the day off school and work. Sofia couldnt make it over because the roads were closed and she was at her apartment.
My mom and dad had left all of us to our own devices, the girls were running all over the house keeping Shadow entertained, Drew and I decided to just stay down in our room. There was 2 weeks till the babies were do and we were just doing our best to make sure we were ready. We had unpacked and repacked the "go bag" about 15 times before my mom called us out. She said that her and my dad had something to tell us. Me and Chase went upstairs and they were on the couch sitting.
Chase: "so whats up?" Drew and I sat on the love seat across from them.
Jena: "me and your father have to let you know something"
Chase: "okay? What is it"
Luca: "We are back together"
Chase: "Cool"
Jena: "Cool? I thought youd have more to say?"
Chase: "Come on mom. Youve been staying over almost everyday. Did you think i didnt know you were sleeping in Dads room?"
My mom laughed softly
Jena: "Fair enough"
Drew: "I thought you were going to tell us you were pregnant or something"
Drew and I laughed but stopped when saw we were the only ones laughing.
Chase: "Seriously!? Arent you like too old or something"
Jena: "I am only 36!"
Drew: "wait are you sure?"
Luca: "not yet but Jena is late if you get what I mean. And has been having the same strange cravings she had when she was pregnant with Chase"
Chase: "wow well I guess the twins might have an auntie or uncle theyre older than"
Jena: "maybe so"
Luca: "thank you for handling this so well"
Chase: "of course! If you are does this mean youre going to want one of the nurseries back?" I laughed
Jena: "no dear, we are going to have the girls share a room"
Drew: "why not just move the baby into the guest room?"
Luca: "well the girls always run to each others rooms at night anyway, theyre used to sharing a room. And we have been starting to turn it a play room"
Chase: "oh makes sense"
The conversation slowly halted to an end and Drew turned on the TV. We sat there and watched for awhile.
