Call Me Chase

Chapter 34

Chase's POV:
Drew, Mom, Dad, and I had been watching TV when my dad to pipe in and break the silence.
Luca: "So have you guys been thinking of names?"
Drew: "Yeah we had some picked out but we arent completely sure."
Chase: "Yeah but we have a couple we're leaning for"
Jena: "what were they?"
Chase: "I want them to be a suprise"
Luca: "okay thats fine. Its your choice"
Chase: "Im going to make lunch. Any suggestions?"
Jena: "you dont have to make anything but if you want to you can make whatever you want dear"
I smiled and made my way to the kitchen. I decided to make chicken fajitas and started preparing everything once i started getting ready to cook everything, it happened. I didnt expect it to at all, not yet, but it did. I walked into the living room where Drew and my parents were seated. They all looked up at me confused
Luca: "you made lunch already?"
I didnt respond and just stared at them.
Jena: "Chase honey.. whats wrong?"
Chase: "My- My water just broke"
Drew: "what!? But it's 2 weeks early!!"
Chase: "I know" I felt generally calm and everyone around me started to Panic.
Jena: "Drew go get the Go Bag and meet us in the car. Luca go get the girls ready and meet us at the hospital. I'll call them in the car"
My mom rushed my into the car and we made our way into the hospital. I had been having contractions but I had assumed it was just practice ones again. I guess I was wrong.
*time jumps*
I looked up at the nurse smiling, tears in my eyes as she placed my baby boy in my arms. I looked up at Drew who had a twinkle in his eyes and our baby girl in his arms
"theyre beautiful" I squeaked out softly as Drew leaning in and kissed me on the forehead.
"Have you two thought of names?" The nurse asked curiously. I smiled at Drew and nodded.

I smiled as our family walked into the room. I looked over at Drew who was sitting at the foot of the hospital bed
Chase: "We would like you guys to meet the newest additions to the family"
Drew: "Amelia Grace..."
Chase: "and Tyler James Wilcox"
Jena: "they're beautiful let my see my precious little grandbabies"
Chase: "they're releasing us tomorrow have you got the carseats?" I looked over at my dad as I gently put Tyler into my moms arms.
Sofia: "I have one and your dad has the other" I nodded and watched as Drew passed Amelia to Sofia. This is quite possibly the best day of my life.

*time jump*
Getting used to have a baby is hard, getting used to having two seemed impossible. The twins are now about 6 months old and my parents have left me and Drew by ourselves with them for the first time, it goes without saying we were pretty stressed.
"Babe Tyler needs a diaper change can you do it?"
"Why cant you I'm doing the laundry!" Drew called back and I sighed
"Im feeding Amelia! Babe please!"
"Hold on" I sighed and got up to grab a diaper. Why couldn't he just do it the laundry could wait.
I put Amelia down in her crib and moved Tyler to the changing table. I started changing him and Amelia started crying, more like screaming I was the one crying.
"Whos crying!?"
"Lia!"
"

Can you get her?"
"Im changing Tyler"
"Okay hold on!"
Drew came in the room and looked at me
"Babe why are you crying"
"I can't handle this. We need my parents"
"No babe we can do this. We are going to move out we can do this"
"I cant"
"You can"
I picked up Tyler and he picked up Amelia and he wrapped one arm around my shoulder.
"We will get the hang of this babe its okay"
I nodded and rested my head in his shoulders. The kids stopped crying and silence fell over us. We walked up stairs and sat on the sofa together with the twins.

I woke up to the sound of a camera shuttering.
Lucas: "you guys all fell asleep, it was cute"
I smiled at my dad as he handed me the Polaroid he took and walked out of the room. I looked over at Drew and the twins laying across our chests. I smiled at the picture of the three of us asleep. We were peaceful, and I knew this is how it was supposed to be. Even if it was hard I knew we could do this.
