Tyler was so happy that he finally lost his virginity to the love of his life, and the love of his life most his virginity to him as well.

Except, Josh didn't lose his virginity to Tyler.

Three days into their honeymoon, something was telling Josh that he had to tell Tyler. He had to be honest with him. He'd been lying to him about it for two years, saying he was a virgin. And now, Tyler was so excited and happy that they 'lost their virginities to each other' that he couldn't help but feel incredibly guilty.

"H-hey, baby?" Josh asked in the cab on the way back to the hotel, closing the glass to separate them from the driver so the driver couldn't hear.

"Hm?" Tyler hummed with a smile, snuggling more into Josh and holding the hand that was over his shoulder.

"I Uh... I need to tell you something."

"What is it?" Tyler asked, concerned Josh maybe was feeling sick or something.

"I um... I'm not... I-I wasn't uh... I wasn't a virgin when we met," Josh said, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"What?"

"I-I told you that I was a virgin a-and that I'd lose my virginity to you, b-but I didn't. A-and seeing you so happy about it just made me feel so bad f-for being the reason that isn't true."

"O-oh," Tyler said quietly, pulling away from Josh and sitting up straight, not touching his husband.

"I-I'm really sorry," Josh said.

Tyler nodded, keeping quiet.

He didn't say another word the whole ride back.

They eventually reached the hotel, getting out of the cab. Tyler walked far ahead of Josh, Josh staying back behind him for a while because he knew he needed some space.

"I'm gonna ask them about somewhere we could go for breakfast in the morning," Josh told Tyler who was on the elevator as he nodded towards the front desk. "I'll catch the next one up."

In reality, he went to the little concession area they had and bought every type of snack he thought Tyler would like.

He made it up to their room, unlocking the door to see Tyler lying in bed, reading his book.

"Hey, baby," Josh said, getting on the bed with him. "Look, I brought snacks."

Tyler set his book down, just sitting there quietly for a while as Josh kept offering him different snacks.

"I wish you had just been honest with me," Tyler said quietly. "I-it still would have been special."

"I-I know, baby," Josh said. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry."

"I probably looked like an idiot going on and on about how we were both losing our virginities," Tyler mumbled.

"No you didn't," Josh quickly said. "Not at all. It was sweet. So, so sweet. I just... I wish I would have told you the truth."

"Why didn't you?"

"I thought you might think of me differently," Josh shrugged gently. "Like maybe my love wasn't worth as much since I'd done it with somebody else."

"Your love is always going to mean the world to me," Tyler said. "That's never going to change."

"I-I know, baby," Josh said. "And it's when you say sweet things like that that just make me feel more disgusting for just treating my virginity like it didn't mean anything when it means so much to you."

"Y-you shouldn't feel gross for having lost it before you got married," Tyler replied.

"I-I know, I know. I guess I... i guess I just feel gross for lying about it. A-and I'm so sorry, Tyler. I really, really am."

Tyler shrugged. "I-it's okay. Y-you weren't meaning to hurt me by it."

Josh sighed. Why did his husband have to be so amazing? "I love you."

"I-I love you too."

"I hope this doesn't make it any less special when we do it," Josh added.

"I-it'll still be special," Tyler said.

"You always said you thought it was the most beautiful thing that it was something only you and me shared together," Josh replied.

Tyler shrugged. "I mean, we're married now. W-we're gonna be doing it for a long time. A-and only with each other from now on, s-so that's cool."

Josh sighed. "You know, this would be a lot easier if you weren't so sweet. If you would just yell and scream at me."

"I don't want to yell and scream at you," Tyler said.

"That's the thing," Josh replied. "You're allowed to be mean to me."

"Y-you're my husband and it's our honeymoon," Tyler said confusedly. "Why would I want to be mean to you?"

"Because I lied about something that's important to you."

"Y-you weren't lying to purposely try and hurt me. I-I can't be mad at you for that."

Why did Tyler have to be such a perfect husband?

"I love you," Josh sighed. "I love you and I'm sorry."

"I love you too."

Josh opened his arms, Tyler scooting over so he was in his lap hugging him.

"We're gonna have a great rest of our honeymoon," Josh promised. "It's gonna be amazing."
