Chapter 4

"Me miss?" Amberosia replied, unable to believe it.

"Yes dear you." Ralvania told her sipping at the mug.

"I am truly honored miss, but I haven't even a hint of magic to me." Ambrosia pointed out, hoping not to upset the boss.

The empress leaned across the large desk; closer to the girl.

"I can give you some of mine." The empress whispered to her.

"Magical people can do that?" She asked amazed.

"No, three beings of magic know how and I happen to be one of them. Are you interested? Soranto also suggested I chose you. He says you are his favorite." The empress informed her.

Amberosia blushed slightly and with wide eyes looked to her mistress and nodded.

"I'd love to!" She exclaimed reaching across and hugging her tightly; something the empress didn't mind so much.

"Good." 

"When shall we start miss?" She asked the most obvious question.

"Meet me here after sunset, we'll get you started." Ralvania told her that as Gina walked into the room hearing the conversation.

Red-faced , and filled with rage Gina glared at them both. 

"What's this now? The new girl gets to be a sorceress and I have been a faithful servant for the past eight years? you can't be serious; do I wait on her now too?" Gina spoke in a growling tone of anger.

"I will not tolerate jealousy." Ralvania reminded her.

"You don't have to, I quit!" Gina barked and turned to pack her things and get out of there.

"I didn't mean to cause any of that mess." Amberosia admitted to her.

"You didn't, she did." Ralvania told her.

"Thanks miss, I'll see you tonight." She told her and left the huge library.

Ralvania nodded and got back to her spell-books.
