The dragons led the other three through the drab forest, uphill. They all went east, following behind Kadrid.
Ralvania knew it was almost over with. She wasn't sure if her feelings about this were an over-reaction or justified. She walked closely behind Pandora who followed her mate. The empress looked around watching sparrows, robins and crows fly. Small squirrels, winged chipmunks and imps going around the trees.
She was trying desperatley not to think that every step she took across the forest floor was one more toward her impending doom. However, Salem might be right, it may not turn out as bad as her worst nightmares keep producing. Everything will be okay, she reminded herself as they kept on hiking.
"Just so the both of you know, when we get inside of the dark realm; hide your fear." Salem warned them both.
"Got it." Pandora answered for them both.
She kept going, knowing she was armed for anything needed if a demon did give her trouble. As they walked a few feet ahead there was something yelping and crying . The empress ran to it, seeing a pale blue werewolf pup, caught in a tree limb.
"Hey, hold still. I'll free you." She explained in a soft tone.
The pup blinked.
The empress yanked on the troublesome branch letting go of the pup who had hit the forest floor with a light thump. The werewolf pup then instantly transformed into a female pale blue toned imp-goblin.
"Thank you" She spoke, scared stuttering the words.
"You're welcome. I'm Ralvania and those are my friends." She told the imp-goblin.
"I'm Bredaliah."
"Good to meet you. Are you a fairy?"
"No miss. A shape-shifter. A good one." She replied, shifting into a pale blue owl and flew away.
"Can we go?" Soranto barked.
"Yes." Ralvania answered and they kept going.
