Goblin's Hollow 4 The Vampire's Quest

Chapter 13

"Ralvania, thank you for responding so quickly." He greeted her then headed to the pot of elven coffee.

"Of course, you've helped me plenty of times. Now what is this vampire issue i'm needed for?" She asked him flatly.

"It's a long story." He replied.

"There's coffee and i'm here." She responded.

"Do you remember hearing about my father Magellan?" He asked as he took a seat near his mate.

"Yes, he's a vampire."  Ralvania answered, then took a gulp of the intoxicating liquid.

"Yes, a dear friend of his needs help." Salem explained.

She looked him dead in the eyes before finally replying...."Is this friend a vampire, too?" 

"Yes. Spencer is his name." Salem began, then took a sip of his own mug, then leaned forward.

"His mate, Narscisca has been kidnapped and he doesn't know who did it or where she is now." 

"What is it they want from me?' 

  "My father and Spencer are on thier way right now, they should be here anytime." Salem replied.

After a long silence surrounded the three of them, the empress finally spoke.

"Do they want my blood?" 

"I really don't think that's what they want. Magical assistance would be my guess." Salem replied.

"Empress you're not afraid of vampires, are you?" Pandora asked, sensing fear in the room.

"No I'm not afraid of them." 

"Then what is it?" Salem asked.

"They are more of a challange to help; more difficult to read." She finally admitted to them both.

"I'm sure they'll be here soon, my father seems desperate to help this friend. Otherwise I wouldn't have sent for you." He told her.

"It's fine, I'm in no hurry." 

"I'm enjoying having coffee with you as it is; has been far too long." Pandora told her.

"Yes it has." She commented.
