Soranto and Kadrid kept flying together in perfect formation. When he went further up she went under. For the most part Ralvania let them have their fun. That is until they played cloud tag a little too fast even for her.

"I'm not trying to be pair of wet wings, but the loops in the sky are making me severely light-headed."  She told him.

"Oh, sorry." He replied and Kadrid slowed down to  fly right next to them.

"How's the flight?" Salem yelled over to her.

"I think I'll be fine, thanks." Ralvania told him.

"How long have we been flying?" She asked the warlock.

"Six and a half hours, I think."

"Wow your Kadrid can fly." The empress exclaimed.

"As can Soranto."

"Kind of you to notice Mister Salem." The dragon replied, accepting the compliment.

"Do we need to land soon?" The empress asked Pandora who was next to Salem on top of Kadrid.

"Kadrid will within the next hour, I will need to stretch my legs." The sorceress told her.

Ralvania nodded and sipped at the thermos, staring off to the skies in front of them, until the dragons started to fly closer to the ground. The two dragons slowed immensely until fifteen minutes they had landed. Salem and Pandora climbed down from Kadrid. Then The empress slid down Soranto's backside.

She looked around at the forest, grass lands and mountains. Then saw a winding trail heading off near the mountains.

Kadrid knew the area well, and gave out the warning.

"Don't any of you go near that path."

"Why not?" Ralvania inquired.

"The locals here call it the beaten path. It's probably named that for good reason."

"I think I'll take your word for it." The empress replied, seeing the dead serious look in Kadrid's eyes.
