Ralvania headed through the dense forest alongside Pandora, who had been trying to just be there for her. The empress wasn't used to a lot of friends. Other creatures liked her but with the immortal sorceress it was more of a kinship.
Glad that if she had to go to the dark realm for any reason, it wasn't alone. As they were walking Kadrid led them off the path to the left and through the forest. The rest of them followed behind her for the next quarter mile.
That's when Kadrid stopped, suddenly.
"What's wrong?" Soranto asked her.
"There's a fork in the road, I don't remember it being here." She told them.
"That's alright honey." He soothed.
"No it's not. I don't remember if we go left or right." She told him in a panic.
Then the sky lit up in bright neon blue for a few minutes, coming from about seven miles away, followed by a large ka-boom sound.
The empress ran as fast as she could go, the others behind her, to find out what the hell just happened and if anyone had been hurt.
