"Don't hold us in suspense, father who is it?" Salem asked.
"You can come out now." Magellan ordered.
From the other side of a near by mountain, Phoebe came forward.
Kadrid's eyes began to water with joy as she went over to see her mother.
"I don't want to know how you pulled it off, but why?" Salem asked.
"When I was down there in the dark realm, something made me go talk to her. I found out she was Kadrids mother, so I bought her from a demon that owed me a few favors." Magellan slowly explained.
"So Phoebe will live with you?"
"Yes, when you visit me she can see her mother."
Salem hugged his father, then the empress tapped the vampire on the shoulder. He turned and she kissed his cheek.
"What was that for?" He asked.
"Not making me set foot in the underworld." She replied.
