The color had drained from her face the moment Pandora finished that sentance.
"What's wrong?" Pandora asked, as she poured a cup of the hot brew for each of them.
"You did say vampires, right?"
"Yes." She replied, taking a sip from the steaming mug.
"Are they full-blood vampires?" Ralvania asked her.
"I think so, but you should ask Salem for sure. Sit have another cup. I'll go get him now." She replied, leaving to get the warlock-vampire.
The empress sipped at the drink for a moment, then refilled it. Her mind seemed to just race, it wasn't a dislike for vampires but more of a difficulty. She could read all kinds of beings, but vampires were much harder. Visions would be flashes of images and light, or a decent vision would be fogged over. They were often misleading and almost impossible to interpret.
Dealing with vampires were just more of a risk, in her professional opinion. Then she had reminded herself that Salem was a half- vampire and a great kind soul. Thing may not be as disastrous as imagined. She had relaxed her nerves a little by the time Salem had entered the room.
