*beep* *beep* *beep*

The sound of the alarm echoed within the confines of the small bedroom of the hero, Eraserhead. The raven hair groaned and turned onto his stomach for him to reach the loud device. He slammed his palm onto the button, ultimately shutting it off.

His body was telling him to stay under the comfort of the sheets but his mind was telling him otherwise. Besides being a pro hero, Eraserhead was also a teacher. He had responsibilities.

The man groggily got up and changed into his casual black clothes and boots. He placed his goggles around his neck then hid them under the fabric of his capture weapon. Without bothering to groom his messy hair, he had went out and headed to school.

It had already been a week since he had met this year's batch of soon to be heroes. Everyone was amazed at the fact that the strict man had not failed anyone... at least not yet. He had a reputation for failing those who did not seem worthy for the title of 'hero' but since class 1-A was still intact, he had seen promise in them.

Just as he had reached the door leading to his class, a loudmouthed blonde male had called out his name and attention. It was the pro hero Present Mic, his co-teacher in UA and old friend.

Aizawa had just ignored the latter and brushed away any insensible things he had to say during the early morning. The blonde hero's attitude never wavered despite his friend's gloomy expression. The energetic man just laughed it off and gave the other a pat on the shoulder. He had then told him that he was being called forth by the principal for some matters that had to be discusses privately. The raven haired man cocked his head, curious as to why he wasn't informed personally but just let it slide since he wasn't in the mood for questioning.

He had heaved a sigh and let Hizashi, Present Mic, take over for him in class. If this was something important then he had to be quick since it was Principal Nezu himself who wanted to see him. Aizawa went on a fairly quick pace straight to the office and gave a knock on the door as he stated his name. A muffled 'enter' was heard from the other side before he pushed the door open then entered.

He thought that it would just be a plain conversation where he would be given reminders or notices. What Aizawa hadn't expected was a personnel from the Police Force to be in the same room, waiting for his arrival. There was a hint of surprise seen in his eyes, his body going stiff for a second then relaxing immediately as he managed to assess his surroundings. He gave a slight nod, acknowledging the police detective's presence. He was greeted in the same way before Nezu had begun explaining the reason why the hero was summoned.

Apparently, he would be entertaining the presence of another student in his class. But unlike his current students, the new one was in some way... special. Because of the child's quirk, their parents had to take the child directly under the hands of UA and had been living 'off the grid' for the entire time. In other words, the child has no identity whatsoever and their entire existence has been kept secret by the government.

After an hour of conversing with the two, he had gave another deep sigh. This would be really troublesome if it were not a special assignment but he had no choice but to accept it. There was no other hero who was best suited for the job. He massaged his temple trying to be as reasonable as possible. It was difficult to believe that UA had taken such countermeasures just to secure the child and their quirk.

"So may I ask what exactly is that child's quirk anyway? If the school and the government had kept their mouths sealed about this topic then why take the initiative to handle it now?"

Detective Tsukauchi looked back at Nezu, asking for permission, before explaining further. "The child's quirk is called nightmare. Just from the sound of it, the child has the ability to project nightmares into a person's mind just by looking or touching them. This quirk is one of a kind and because of this, no one actually knows how to control it. Of course, we have already tried to appease the child but every time people tried to get close... they end up in a severe mental breakdown and in the worst case... death"

The pro hero slightly flinched as he heard that single word. Having such an out-of-control quirk would certainly be something to worry about but what he couldn't figure out was why now of all times.

"The child is apparently around the same age as your students and we had decided that it would be better off if the child could be trained to suppress her abilities in order to avoid future disasters"

Aizawa had fully understood what they meant. Besides suffering more casualties because of that accursed quirk, there may also be a possibility that the child may be found or turned into a villain. And to have something like a ticking time bomb run lose would be utterly disastrous and could wreak havoc wherever they may go. Since he had a grasp of the situation, there was no way he could reject it now. He had agreed to watching over the child but he had to meet them first.

Nezu had asked for Detective Tsukauchi to escort the pro hero to where the child was being taken care off. Although with the use of such light words, he knew that the place they were going to would most probably be like any other detention facilities where people with dangerous quirks were detained.

"Tsukauchi-san. Exactly how long has this child been kept under watch?", he didn't want to be blunt with his question but he didn't want idle chatter. He had to be direct if he wanted to know more about them.

The man contemplated on his answer but gave no more that two words. "10 years"

Now, Aizawa had been completely taken aback. If the principal had said that this child was around the same age as his students then that would mean that the child had been detained around the age of 4 or 5. Although it was pretty logical since quirks manifest around that time but for an innocent child to go through something as horrible like imprisonment was...

"We're here", his companions words were enough to snap him out of his thoughts. He got out of the vehicle and like he had expected, the place where they arrived was the city's detainment facility.

Just who is this child anyway?
