The Erasure hero's entire class went silent as a difficult question got slapped across their faces for the day's oral recitation. Yes, they were soon to be heroes and a part of U.A.'s class 1-A nonetheless but they were still high school students and it was absolutely evident that they learn what any other high school student ought to learn.

Aizawa had scanned around the room looking for any student who could answer his simple inquiry. It was just a simple question, truth to be told, although he also wondered if it was only easy to him since he knew the answer. His most attentive students, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, should have thought of an answer by now but it was obvious that they were having a difficult time as the rest.

There were only a few more minutes left before the bell for lunch rings. He was now contemplating on whether to have it as an assignment so everyone could think it over. The man heaved a deep sigh before speaking. "If no one can answer then--"

"Sir", the pro hero's train of thought got cut off by an unexpected call from the back - it was [name] raising her hand. It took Aizawa a few minutes to respond but he encouraged his new pupil to stand up and answer.

"What you asked... its a trick question, isn't it? I mean, the basis of your inquiry isn't actually logical and doesn't add up. To simply put it, there is really no possible answer no matter how much we ponder"

All eyes in the room widened after hearing such a bold conclusion from a person such as [name]. It was like she was a different person the entire time. Gazes then shifted back to the raven haired male standing at front. They wanted to know if [name]'s answer was correct or just a guess right off the bat.

Aizawa gave an affirmative response before letting [name] take her seat. Kaminari and Kirishima were the first to give praise to their new classmate. The man in front gave his  two students deadly glares which made them rethink their places in life before gazing back at [name]. I guess there's no need to worry about her education, he thought. And then, at that moment, the bell had rang. Aizawa had dismissed his class before leaving, of course, with [name] tagging along beside him.

He'd glance at the child from time to time to see if there were, in any way, changes with her emotional state. But her [eye color] orbs remained with the same hollow stare she usually had. Right now, Aizawa did not know if this was an improvement or a setback but as long as she was to remain calm then training her to suppress her ability might go well. They both had a quick meal before Aizawa escorted [name] to the infirmary for her daily monitoring. It was a bit of a hassle but this was a part of his job of taking care of [name].

At the faculty . . .

"Ooohhhh ~! It seems you got another straight A student, Eraser!", the 18+ only hero jeered as she peered over the stack of papers Aizawa was checking.

"Don't you have papers you need to check?", the stoic man growled in annoyance as he continued on with his task. As far as he knew, her education was something that he need not worry about. [name]'s intellect was way ahead among all the students of U.A. - could me even more than his best students, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki - but being a teacher, he had to put his job as [name]'s guardian aside when it came to his judgment of such matters.

Nemuri just gave a giggle and elbowed the man. "Say, Eraser. Where is [name] anyway?"

"She's having her checkup at the infirmary"

"Eh ~", the female hero cooed.

"Don't worry. Recovery Girl will be alright. As long as this bracelet doesn't go off then they're both fine", the pro hero explained as he showed his co-worker the device attached on his wrist.

"My, my. You seem to have put a lot of faith on [name], haven't you?", the latter commented in a teasing manner which made Aizawa's brow twitch.

"Faith, huh?", he muttered more to himself than Midnight. "Its not about having faith. The actions and choices that I make are just the most logical things to do" The Eraser hero settled down the papers he had just finished marking and grading before grabbing the materials he needed for his last class. But then . . .

The sound of the school alarm went off. All the pro heroes in the faculty had went on alert mode. Eraserhead and Present Mic were the first few to rush outside to see what was going on. On their way out, they had passed by the infirmary.

"[Name]!", Aizawa had completely halted as he saw the child peeking out the entrance of the room. "There's been a break in at the school. I want you to stay with Recovery Girl until we've solved this problem, understand?"

"Yes", she replied meekly. But before the raven haired male could take another step, he felt a hand on his own. It was the first time they had skin-to-skin contact and the warmth he felt on his hand just reminded him on how big the responsibility he had with [name]. "You'll come back, right?"

The man couldn't help but return the delicate touch of [name] with a firm grip of his own. "I will", he nodded before letting her go and rushing outside along with Hizashi. His longtime friend couldn't help but tease the latter as they went along.

"Just shut up", he glared at the man.

As they approached the entrance, they were met with a angry horde of reporters who only came for one thing... All Might. Aizawa groaned in annoyance and frustration but decided to handle the situation as calmly and logically as possible. No matter how much he hated the press there was no use in him doing anything uncalled for especially of the name of U.A. was at stake. All the people from the mass media kept bombarding them with questions about the so-called Symbol of Peace or even a comment about him would suffice. But as far as Aizawa knew about them, the press would likely resemble vultures in the wild and would not be satisfied with just one answer.

"This is trespassing. They're as bad as villains. Can I hurt them?", the blonde hero whispered to his companion.

"Stop it Mic. They'll write badly about you. Wait for the cops"

He could understand their disposition - it was their job - but there were limits to their actions. The only thing worrying Aizawa was how these people managed to break through the U.A. Barrier, the school's most effective alarm and defense system.

What if something like this happened again when he wasn't even remotely close to [name]? No. He shouldn't be thinking of things that aren't even bound to happen. What Aizawa had to focus on was handling the situation before him. Luckily, the cops had arrived within a few minutes and the commotion was finally dealt with without any major happenings but the institution, especially the principal, had no intention of turning a blind eye about it.

Although... what happens next... was something that would redefine [name]'s judgement and emotions toward her guardian.
