It has been a few days since the young lady had come back to her alma mater. Although Aizawa did stick to his words of not being able to accompany the young lady during her visits, Midnight and Mic were kind enough to take turns with stating by her side whenever they had time to spare in between their classes. That day was going on like usual until the two pro heroes gave a suggestion that the young lady didn't expect to hear.

"A part-time job in U.A.?", [name] repeated in concern and question as she looked over her former mentor.

"Yes. I don't see what's wrong with that...", Nemuri replied with great enthusiasm. "... unless you have more important things to do"

[name] contemplated on the idea for a bit while staring back and forth her older companions. If it were just a part-time job then she had the choice to leave anytime she wanted to, she would also have time for other things while she was back Musutafu and she would also have an excuse to linger around the presence of her former guardian the entire time.

It wasn't as though being in the same apartment complex declined their meetings, [name] just didn't want to disturb the older man since his home was the only place he could get the peace he wanted after a long day's work. And knowing the pro, he cherished that small form of solitude he gets if and whenever he got the chance to.

"Well, no I don't but--"

Before the young lady could even finish her sentence, the female hero took a hold of both her hands and practically squealed in delight. "It's settled then! I've given your papers to Principal Nezu. He said you can start by tomorrow"

Just at that moment, the raven haired pro came through the door to hear most of the relevant chatter. He slammed the door a bit more louder that he should've to give emphasis to his arrival and presence, surprising all those in the room.

"Hey, Eraser! Good news! [name]'s gonna--"

"-- be working here. Yeah, I heard"

Instead of a more positive response, a scowl was pasted all over Aizawa's features. He unceremoniously dropped his papers on his table and took a seat, shutting out all other noises within reach. Even though they couldn't clearly see the man's face from where they sat, they could feel the pissed off aura emanating all around him. Considering that the man was always like that, they never provoked him any more than they should (unless they wanted to end up like Hizashi a few days ago).

What are those idiots thinking?, was the frustrated thought running through Aizawa's thoughts as he looked over his students' papers.  It was already past five in the afternoon and the faculty was was slowly being painted by the setting sun. It had been a very tiresome day for the pro and what he had just heard the moment he re-entered the lounge hours ago fueled his irritation even more.

To everyone's knowledge, Aizawa wasn't really the social type and most of all he wasn't the best role model yet there he was in one of the most prestigious schools in Japan teaching a bunch of noisy idealistic brats how to become proper heroes. It wasn't as if he deliberately chose the job. NO. The actual truth behind his current position as one of U.A.'s staff was because Nemuri had the bright idea of passing an application paper in his name to the school's board. He swore he almost choked the villain he held captive after her heard the news from the female hero herself on phone.

To think that [name] was in the same position as he was years ago just tweaked a nerve in him. An exasperated sigh left his nostrils as he sat back up and rearranged his thoughts once more. It wasn't his place to decide for [name] anymore although he really didn't like the thought of the young lady going through the same thing as him. They had their own lives now. He wasn't in the place to meddle with another person's problems... especially not now.

Hours later, after his usual night patrol, Aizawa spotted [name] just outside her room's balcony staring off into the night. She was wearing her pajamas with a blanket draped over her shoulders, her [hair color] locks fluttering in the cool night's breeze.

Before he could even register his movements, he was already a few strides away from the female who still hasn't noticed his presence. "You shouldn't stay up so late"

The pro's voice snapped [name] back to reality, making her stumble on her words. "A-Aizawa-san... Sorry I didn't..."

"Notice? I thought I had taught you better than to let your guard down", despite his rough statement the tone came out more jokingly than it should have.

Having noticed the drastic change in mood from that afternoon, [name] let out a chuckle of amusement. "I'm sorry about that"

A moment of silence had passed before the older of the two decided to speak his mind. "You know that you don't have to accept it if you don't want to". [name] looked at his former guardian, not quite understanding what he had just meant. "I had mentioned this to you before as to why I taught in U.A. and I'm certain the principal would accept your sudden backing out if he knew that you were signed up for a job without your consent..."

The latter kept mumbling and explaining on about his thoughts until [name] finally realized what he was going on about. The expression on her face changed from confused to warm and delighted as she listened to her companion. It was then that a hearty chuckle left her which made something stir inside of Aizawa.

"I'm grateful that you're still looking out for my well being, Aizawa-san, but its fine really" A warm smile crept up her features as she looked at the man straight in the eyes. "I don't mind working in U.A.. Really. If that means I can spend some more time with you then it's enough for me. And besides, I wanted to return the favor to the school for being so kind to me despite everything"

The raven haired male wanted to smack himself for worrying so much. You 'are' grown up.

"I understand. Just ask me if you need anything"

"Of course"
