NIGHTMARES [Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead x Reader]

It had been over four months since [name] had been given a new life. Although it was not the life that many would perceive to be ordinary but it was definitely a life worth living. Amidst all the problems that U.A. had been going through, the principal of this prestigious school had put it in himself to help just one girl. It was his conscience telling him so.

Ten years ago on that fateful summer night, [name] 's life changed. But what specific situations did actually happen for the teen to arrive at her current point in life? If those people in power during that time helped her recuperate and move on from her trauma then the child may have lived an entirely different life up until now.

Behind the scenes, Nezu had asked for the help of a few pros - Present Mic, Midnight and Vlad King. The three were asked to investigate about the facility where the child had been detained, the connections it had with the government and what kind of actions they've been taking behind watchful eyes. All of this was, of course, done with the support of the police.

With the provisional exams approaching fast, Aizawa's mind had been preoccupied. With pros busy helping with the students' intensive training, only Hizashi was left to do the all the work. Luckily, his guilt was only short-lived.

Aizawa had been called forth before the summer training camp by Nezu because he had something important to inform him. There had been a new lead in their investigation and it was dire that he knew.

When the pro arrived at Nezu's office, a familiar yet dissimilar face had his blood boil. A figure of with silver grey hair and labcoat was standing inside the room.

"Eraser, this is Shinobu-san. He's an acquaintance of mine", the said man walked over to the seemingly stunned pro. He put out his hand, gesturing for them to shake hands. And so the pro did. "Shinobu-san, this is..."

"Underground Hero, Eraserhead. Yes, I know him very well. I only heard about him in news and rumours though. But I must say that I'm quite your fan", there was a confident smile on his face yet something inside the pro was telling him something else.

Once the other pros who were involved with the investigation came, their emergency meeting started. The pros were baffled when they found out that the man with them was actually the fraternal twin of that mad scientist working in the detainment facility where [name] came from. And what was more surprising was that he was the one who had made a way for the child to be admitted in U.A..

The two major conflicting discoveries had them all confused and they needed answers right away. The man then started narrating in a chronological order of how [name] 's circumstances came to be and how they could give her a normal life.

First off was the how his brother came to be who he is today. Apparently, both of them had the same quirk - the ability to analyze the physical state of any living being with just one look. The only difference was that his brother was considered as the more gifted one. And also because of his innate curiosity, he tended to push things too far. His brother's obsession with discovering new things corrupted his morale. At a young age, he rose to the top for his only reason was that those with power get to do whatever they want. And by that time, his brother discovered [name].

The second was how the government got involved. Since researchers and scientists require a lot of money, he had a few government officials sponsor him but with a few favors in return. These corrupted officials wanted to create a 'hero' that they would benefit from and that meant that this 'hero' must do whatever they say. And in that process [name] was the one who suffered the consequences.

The last was how [name] ended up in U.A.. Of course he knew about his sibling's deeds. Even though he was not as talented as his brother, the man was certainly passionate and hardworking. He struggled to become a doctor as soon as possible and after a few years and some anonymous transactions, he managed to get her into U.A..

Although he knew Nezu personally by that time, he still stayed anonymous for the safety of the child. This was the first time he came out from the shadows to tell the truth in hopes to finally finish the child's ten year struggle. Of course, all the things he had narrated were still not proven unless he had hard evidences. And that was where the pros came in.

All the information they have gathered up to that point were spot on and all they had to do was testify. [name] could then live without worrying about the people who desired her power for evil use and twisted purposes.

Everyone couldn't agree more for the child to finally have justice. There was just one more thing that the man would like to add. But unless he had the permission to do so, he would never insist. He knew there were people who were much more suited for it but he just couldn't. With some talk, they all agreed and the only thing the man had to wait for was Eraserhead's signal.

"Thank you so much for taking care of [name]. I knew I could leave her in your hands. I'll just come by for a visit sooner or later" the new individual had left just as quick as he had arrived. It was just too fast.

"Brainjack: Distort!"

The call of [name] 's second move snapped the pro back to his senses. And within seconds, the fight was over. His co-teacher was knocked down and his students were standing victorious. There were just two more days before the exams meaning that there was just so little time left on Aizawa's hands.

"Aizawa-sensei!", The teen came rushing towards her guardian, the adrenaline rush too obvious to see. "I did it. I controlled my quirk"

The enthusiasm that came from the teen brought a kind of uneasy feeling inside the man's chest. He wanted to respond the way he always did but that feeling prevented him from doing so. He averted his gaze and just turned back.

"Make sure to do the same in the provisional exams", his words was so monotone - ice-cold even - making the teen's smile fade.

All Might saw this and decided to talk to his colleague as the man passed his way. "You didn't have to do that. Is it because you're afraid to say goodbye?"

There was a long pause until Aizawa stopped and looked back at the taller male. All the answers he needed could be seen in his bloodshot eyes. "Why would I?"
