"I see. If that's her decision then there's no helping it. [Name] is a smart girl. She is as logical and reasonable as you so I have no doubts that her choice is for her own and everybody's good" This was the only comment that Nezu had told Aizawa after hearing about [name]'s decision concerning her internship. The pro hero was still uncertain about it but if the Principal had agreed to it himself then the only thing left to do was to support [name] in any way he can.
"You all have your costumes, right? Usually, you aren't allowed to wear them in public. Don't drop them", the raven haired man asked as he met up with his students before their departure. It was day they would start with their internships. The duration was one week, meaning he would have no jurisdiction over them for the time being. Despite being so aloof, he wanted to make sure that everyone was well-prepared over that time. "Try not to be a burden to the hero during your internship. Now go"
"Yes!", they all cheered. Everyone had gone their separate ways and had taken their respective routes. All except for one was left.

"My internship?", [name] asked in repeat.
"Yes. If possible, I'd like you to join the internship as well. I know you're already aware of your standing in Class 1-A and since you're a special case does NOT mean that you will be treated specially", Aizawa continued explaining as the child watched intently. [name]'s eyes scanned each item and their descriptions in her copy of the list of agencies , deciding if their would be one that she would see as fit.
"I see your point, sir. But... I don't think it will be possible", the man raised a brow at the child as she went on with her statement. "You said it yourself, didn't you? I'm still under strict training and proper guidance. It is not that I do not have faith in the abilities that you see in me, its just that... wouldn't the sudden change of regimen just cause an adverse effect with my progress?"

"Let's go", Aizawa gestured.
Even thought the pro hero expected such an answer, he still found himself to be at awe. The way [name] could reason her way through this conversation meant that she was exercising her freedom to choose. She was getting more capable by the day and they were just halfway into the semester. If things continue smoothly then she's be able to pick herself up in no time.
Since everyone was out for the entire week, that meant that Aizawa had a lot of time in his hands. During the past week, he had [name] do exercises along with him. They would both wake up before sunrise and go jogging along the early morning streets of the town. The pro hero wanted to slowly build up the child's strength and stamina - something that she clearly lacked - without pushing her frail body too much. During the afternoon or evenings, they would both have meditation sessions as a form of rest and relaxation.
Along with the training and internship, Aizawa had also decided on resuming his night patrol duties for the week as to not waste any time. Of course, [name] was to tag along since she was his sidekick for the time being. This would be a great way to exercise both her mental and physical training and raise her awareness of her surroundings. In that sense, [name] could get a better grasp of the world she was going to enter once she graduates from her guardian's care.
"There. All done ~!", a gleeful Midnight cheered as she eyed her work. For the reason that patrolling was a part of her internship and Aizawa's duty as a hero, [name] couldn't go out unprotected. Unlike her classmates who had there costumes made way before the start of school, the young teen needed something she could work with.
The raven haired man had suggested that she just wear her PE uniform or a smaller version of the man's black jumpsuit but, of course, it was a big NO. But his bland proposition did not go to waste. After talking over with the personnel from the Development Studio (respectively Power Loader and Mei Hatsume from the Support Class), they had managed to create a hero costume which was not far from the costume which the Eraser Hero owned. Just a simple black outfit with the same black boots in which [name] can move freely in.
"Thank you for the help, Nemuri-san", [name] bowed. The 18+ only hero returned her kind gesture with a tight hug and a pat on the head.
"Be careful, okay?", [name] replied with a simple nod before heading alongside her guardian.
The sun had already set hours ago and the bustling streets of the city was preparing for the night. Compared to the daylight hours, nighttime in Musutafu was pretty calm and quiet. Although the place seemed peaceful, there were still a number of villains that would take advantage of that. The usual encounter of Eraserhead as a hero were burglaries, occasional street fights caused by drunkards and plain old no do-gooders. The acts of having to chase them down and report to the police was what mostly filled his nights.
The duo walked through the empty streets in hopes that there would not be any violent encounters. Their surroundings were pretty quiet until cries of a child were heard from afar. They had both wasted no time and headed where the sobs came from. As they turned around the next corner, they saw a shop that was still open. It was a toy store. At the front of the store was a man trying to comfort a weeping child.
"What happened?", the pro hero asked as they approached the two.
"I was about to close the shop when I saw this kid peeking through the window. I went out to ask him why he was out here all alone in the middle of the night but then he started crying and I don't know what to do", the store owner explained as he tried to comfort the child in his arms. The little boy was wearing pajamas so Aizawa had assumed that he managed to sneak himself outside his house and lose his way here.
Aizawa immediately contacted the police and it was a good thing that Tsukauchi picked up. The two conversed on the phone while the store owner was still trying to appease the boy. He tried talking to him but the child's cries just became louder. The police arrived moments later with Tsukauchi personally coming over. They tried questioning him for more than an hour but their voices was drowned by the younger's wails.
This is troublesome. We should just- The pro hero's thoughts were cut off when a curious [name] suddenly took interest in the child. She held up her hand and then placed it on the child's head, patting him. There was a kind and calm aura that enveloped her as she comforted the boy. And just like that, the boy stopped.
All of the elder men were a bit shocked yet relieved at the same time. Now that the child had calmed down, they had managed to ask him their question. He was a bit reluctant but answered anyway. Apparently and coincidentally, the boy's name was also Shouta (the same as Eraserhead) and he lived nearby. And as soon as they got the information they needed, Shouta was immediately escorted back to his home and they were finally able to call it a night.
