After an entire day of students competing with each other, the U.A. Sports Festival had finally come to an end. The winner for this year was none other than the hot headed Bakugo Katsuki with Todoroki Shoto and Tokoyami Fumikage coming in at second and third places. Of course it ended with All Might giving an exemplary and heartfelt speech (which actually ended in a complete and epic fail) but, all in all, it ended quite peacefully. No villains... no crimes... nothing.
By sundown, all of the students in the prestigious high school were called forth within their respective classrooms. Some of the students were heavily injured like Midoriya (which was to be expected), some had a few bruises like Uraraka and most of them just had their energy drained from fatigue and exhaustion. And to no further ado, Aizawa gave some last words before everyone enjoyed their two-day vacation.
As Class 1-A's homeroom teacher, he wanted to remind his students that the main reason behind the establishment of the Sports Festival was for them to make a name for themselves so that they would catch the attention of all the pro heroes out their who were looking for a worthy sidekick. Based on his observations, almost everyone had proven their worth and there's no doubt that they'll be worthy candidates for recruitment. And during that period of time, he would be able to focus on his recovery and [name]'s training.
"[Name]-chan!", a gleeful Ashido called out as she approached [name] who was standing at front with her guardian. The pro hero was already on his way out but had given permission for her to stay for a while and be able to talk with the others. And after a few moments, [name] found herself being surrounded by her classmates.
I promise I won't go out of control again
"I'll still take your word for it", Aizawa mumbled to himself as he remembered the child's word from that morning.
It was already half passed six in the evening and almost all the other teachers and staff have left and gone home. But being that he was still in that situation, Present Mic stayed behind in the lounge to wait for him and [name].
"Yo! Eraser! Isn't [name]-chan with you?"
"I left her in the classroom with the others. She'll be following soon enough"
"Eh ~ Is that so ~?", there was a teasing kind of tone that came from Hizashi. Seriously? After all that's happened within the day, the man still had enough energy to poke fun at him.
"What? If you've got something to say then just say it", the mummy-like man scowled at the face his friend was making. He knew there was something he was trying to imply.
"Oh, nothing ~ Its just that... if [name]-chan keeps this progress up then that would mean that she'd be graduating from your care. She would be considered as an official student in U.A. and be exposed to the world around her", the loudmouthed blonde explained dramatically as the latter just looked at him, not knowing where exactly he was going at.
"And so? That is the plan, isn't it?
Mic clicked his tongue and waved a finger in the air. "Tsk tsk tsk. My dear Shouta, you don't get it at all, don't you? That just means you're shortening the time you have left with her. She's important to you, isn't she?"
"Mic, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm just seeing through with the task assigned to me?", by now, Aizawa was irritated as ever. Although his tolerance with the blonde hero was very high, there was something about their conversation that was just pissing him off. "You know what, Mic? If you keep insinuating such things then..."
"Fine, fine. I get it. I'll shut up, happy?"
Tch
And as if on cue, [name] came in. "Aizawa-san...", both males turned their heads around to see the innocent child peeking through the gap of the doorway. Aizawa glared at his companion from the corner of his eyes, making sure that he won't say any unnecessary things while in the child's presence.
