On the evening of that same day, [name] awoke at the presence of her guardian beside her. Aizawa sat on her left which was parallel to her direction with his arms crossed, eyes closed and face buried in the thickness of his scarf-like weapon. She adjusted her body towards his direction to get a better view of him. The light from the setting sun was just enough to illuminate his visible features and [name] just couldn't help but eye him.

Ever since she came back from that dreaded facility, she felt something change in her. Unlike from when she first arrived in U.A., there was a sense of 'trust' that she had built up. She never knew how that felt but she did know what it meant. The assured reliance on the ability, character and strength of her guardian was something she definitely believed it to be. But if it was actually trust that she was feeling, then why does her chest feel so tight whenever she was with him. It wasn't fear, anger or despair. She was sure of that. What was it then?

"Oi. Its rude to stare", Aizawa grumbled.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to"

The raven haired man shifted his position a little so his head and back was against the chair. He huffed inaudibly before deciding to focus his gaze on anything else other than her.[name] got up and sat at the edge of the bed, her eyes locked on the back of her hands that laid on her lap. Both of them silently admired the last few moments of sunlight before Aizawa decided to speak up.

"[Name]", the man called out making the young teen face his way. "I've been thinking about this for quite some time. Its just a hypothesis but I want to test it out anyway. It would have been better if we had done it at Gym Gamma but I guess it can't be helped at the moment"

[name] was starting to get confused at the moment. She did not understand what her guardian was trying to imply. He was mumbling about something that did not make any sense to her.

"Umm... I don't understand. What do you mean?", she asked, tilting her head a bit.

The pro hero got up and stood directly in front of her. He uncrossed his arms and then placed both hands on the child's shoulders.

"I want you to use your quirk on me"

The expression on [name]'s face suddenly changed as she heard his request. Flashes of past events flooded her thoughts. She couldn't help but imagine what would happen if she accidentally hurt the man she owed her life to.

"I d-don't think I can... I mean-" Her body began to tense, she was biting her lower lip and she balled her fists. Her breathing was also getting ragged.

"[Name], listen carefully... " The man's sudden raise in tone made her jolt and ultimately snapping her out of her trance. "You aren't the same [name] that I met a month ago. You've changed. You're much stronger and more capable than you've ever been for the past years of your life. I trust you, [name]"

As far as anyone knew, Aizawa wasn't the type to comfort someone. He doesn't praise a person just to boost their morale. No. If he praised someone its because he truly believed in the ability of that person. Most of the time he'd just express it through his actions but he wanted for her to understand what his intentions were. Although...

I guess this is too much to ask from her, huh?, Aizawa retracted both his arms and stuffed his hands in his pocket. He turned his back on [name] and gave a long exhale. Maybe it was better that he put this discussion off for another day.

"If you can't do it now then-"

"I... I'll do it. Aizawa-san... If you believe that I can do it then I'll trust your decision. I mean... you never gave me an order that wasn't for my own benefit, right?"

The young teen's last statement was rhetorical but Aizawa couldn't help but smile (or grin, either way) back at her. [name] knew for a fact that if a worst case scenario was to happen then her guardian would do everything he could to stop her. And besides... I promise I won't go out of control again, was what kept ringing in his head as he looked at her confident smile.

It was getting pretty late and both of them still had patrol duties that night but Aizawa still went on with it and inserted extra time. Once they had asked permission again from Cementos, they went back to Gym Gamma. [name] had asked for Aizawa to sit down before they could start. She used what she learned from her meditation sessions and concentrated on mustering up her power. Weak gusts of wind circled her body as she stood which became obvious when her [hair color] locks swayed and fluttered. Her [eye color] orbs were shut close with her brows furrowed. She was shutting out the entire world and focused only on the sound of her heartbeat. Her mind was focused the energy that surged through her body, carefully releasing each ounce of it.

Once she had control over the flow, her eyes slowly opened. [Name] lifted her head up to look at her guardian. Her gaze was half lidded as if she was under a deep trance. Meanwhile, Aizawa's own gaze never faltered. His bloodshot eyes observed the young teen's every move - the way she stood, how she breathed and how she looked at him with intensity.

The pro hero could clearly feel the power that was weighing him down. And he was prepared to activate his own quirk if ever something went amiss. [Name] got on her knees and proceeded to lift up her arms and cup Aizawa's cheeks with her small hands. The way her palms made contact with his skin felt so warm and calming, almost making him close his eyes just to indulge in it.

Even though nothing was physically happening, the pro hero's body was getting heavy and yet the sensation he was feeling was the same as floating. It was somewhat nostalgic; like something of the like happened before but his mind was getting to foggy to be able to remember. He did his best to keep his consciousness at bay but eventually... he blacked out.
