She entered the Pledis building with her head held high, forgetting all about her problems.Nothing could bring her mood down. She hopes so anyways.
She walked up to the receptionist and smiled.
"Annyeonghaseyo,Jeoneun Choi Hyejin imnida.I'm here for a meeting with Mr Han Sung-Soo?"she said politely with a bow.The receptionist smiled.
"Ah.Yes,Mr Han has been waiting for you."she said with a soft smile. She pressed a button on a phone and put it to her ear.
Hyejin looked around the fancy looking reception area.It wasn't that big but it wasn't that small either.
"Miss Choi is here to see Mr Han?Ah yes...of course."the receptionist looked up at Hyejin from her seat.
"Miss Min will be taking you to Mr Han's office. She'll be here in a moments time-ah.There she is."The receptionist said.
A tall, petite woman, looking not a day more than twenty-five stood before Hyejin. She wasn't much taller than Hyejin despite wearing high heels. Her brown hair was tied up in a neat and tight bun.She had soft, kind eyes and a heart warming smile.
"Annyeonghaseyo.Jeoneun Min Sena imnida.Your here for an appointment with Mr Han yes?"she asked.Hyejin nodded with a soft smile.Sena beckoned Hyejin to follow her as she approached the lift. She pressed the tablet like screen in the panel and pressed the third floor number and waited for the door to close.
As soon as they stepped foot on the carpeted hallway lit by hallway lamps. It was bright yet not too bright. In fact, the lighting was just perfect.
As she neared the door, she heard the familiar voice of a male man.Han Sung-Soo.She knew him,of course. He seemed to be talking to someone.Sena beckoned her to wait outside the half open door.Announcing she's arrived, she presumed. She heard the words "good bye" before she was allowed to enter,Sena opening the door widely for her to enter.
Hyejin resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she saw Mr Han smiling at her and bowing.
"Ah.Miss Choi.How nice to see you.Have a seat,please."He smiled.
Hyejin sighed and sat down on one of the plush chairs in front of his typical white work desk with Sena leaving the room straight after.
"How many times must I tell you,Mr Han.Just call me Hyejin.I don't see the problem with that. We've met each other several times. All of which consists me asking you to call me Hyejin.Hyejin.Its that simple."she said.
Sung-Soo rolled his eyes but kept his smile on nonetheless.
"Ah.But we're discussing business matters and transferation of companies. For which needs to be of formal and polite speaking.Yes?"He asked with a raised eyebrow.Hyejin nodded, defeated.
After signing the documents of transferation, she sat back into the chair, letting out a long breath. She rolled her neck around, hoping to ease the strain that was put from looking down at the documents.
"That's done."Sung-Soo said."Now.Hyejin-"
"Finally! You called me by my name."she smiled.
Sung-Soo smiled at Hyejin. He'd met her a couple times. They'd met when her manager from the previous entertainment had a meeting. She'd come with the manager as a solo idol representative for talent as well as just because she'd insisted to come along. The other few times they'd met was when her family was there to prepare for Seventeen's debut.Days before the debut was verified and sealed with the rings.
She'd asked about her brother then, always wondering and worried if her brother was doing well and eating his meals regularly. He say Hyejin as a daughter, really.Just as how he saw the Seventeen boys as his own sons.
