And just like that, the day passed, fans smiling brightly and happily.Despite the hesitation of leaving the function hall, they were content. And as much as Seventeen wished it wouldn't end, sadly,it had to.They had a tour to prepare for. That, was more important. The hustle and bustle in the dorm said enough.

Her figure was slumped against the couch, her eyes drooping. She watched drowsily as the boys took a group photo. It would be posted on their instagram as well as their official twitter. She also watched as they did a live video on Vlive. It was no surprise that they'd do such a thing after an event.

She lay on the couch in her room, staring at the ceiling as the cool air continued to envelope her sweaty body. The may not have done a full concert but it might as well have been one.

She thought of all that had happened since she'd arrived in Seoul. So many things had happened. So many things could have happened. She thought back to the encounter with a fan a few days ago where a fan had threatened to hold a Seventeen member hostage if she so didn't comply to giving up her career.

And in that moment, she would have given up had her manager and bodyguard not come at the right time and sent the fan away to the police.

For a moment and in that moment, she regretted entering the lives of the boys.

Wherever you go,you'll bring misfortune to those around you.

Maybe, for a second, she thought what they said was true. There had been encounters with fans she'd kept to herself.Encounters that could have endangered Seventeen.

Encounters she could have prevented from happening had she decided to go to America instead like her parents had wanted.

But,she was selfish. She had her own selfish desires.Desired to stay and enjoy her life as an idol. She was risking so much for her own selfish desires. She was putting herself before others and for the first time, she loved the feeling of freedom.

She sighed, tilting her head towards the side to face the window. It was snowing, she realised, where grey clouds that looked much like cotton candy filled the sky as snowflakes cascaded down onto the concrete floors of Seoul.

She sighed deeply. The only thing that was keeping her herein Seoul was her career, her brother and her boyfriend. Her sanity was slowly crumbling down on her with each moment knowing she could stop the threats on Seventeen fans were giving her just by leaving.

A lone tear cascaded down her rosy cheeks and onto the pillow she was hugging tightly.

"Hyejin-Hey,what's wrong?"her brother asked. The grin he had come in wearing was now gone.Instead, his voice laced itself with worry for his crying sister. She looked up, softening her eyes as she forced her lips to tug up into a small, hopefully convincing smile.

"Nothing.Just thinking."she lied.It wasn't far off from what she was doing. She was, after all, thinking.

Thinking of leaving.

Her brother eyes her carefully. Her face was trailed with tears both fresh and dried, her eyes swollen and red and her usual smile and eyes weren't as bright and cheerful as it usually was.The eyes that shone with radiance was now dull and filled with sadness. Her pink lips that were usually pulled into her cheerful smile was gone and replaced with a fake smile.

She lacked her bubbly personality and despite her attempts to cover up her sadness, Seungcheol could see through the façade she was putting on.

He sighed softly, his eyes softening as he pulled his little sister into a hug, rubbing gentle, soothing circles on her back whilst holding her head in the nook of his neck as he whispered words of reassurance in her ear and somehow, this brought her back to the day he'd left, bringing fresh tears to the wells of her eyes.
