Hyejin held the warm mug in her hands and looked out the cafe window. She pulled her hat down lower on her face and brought the mask up higher on the bridge of her nose. Her hair acting as a curtain to hide herself from the judging eyes in the cafe. She chose to ignore the mumbles directed at her. They couldn't know who she was.At least until she would pull the mask down for a sip of her cup.
She'd frequented at the cafe as of after the debut. She'd settled the debut and had more time for herself. And despite taking the seat in the corner of the cafe, she could still feel the eyes of the customers on her.She tugged at the hat once more.
"Where are you?"she mumbled.
She hesitantly pulled the mask down below her lips and took a sip of the hot chocolate before readjusting the mask to cover her face.
She glanced around the cafe before landing her eyes back to her warm mug of hot chocolate. The chimes of the bell signaling that a new customer had entered-or left-made Hyejin turn her eyes to the door again, the twinkle unmistaken as she stood up to greet the said person.
He was wearing a disguise similar to hers with the hat and mask that covered their faces-an idol necessity. He also wore a black hoodie jacket, the hoodie thrown over his head. She bowed and said her greeting with him doing the same before they both sat back down in the booth opposite of each other.
"What took you so long?"she asked, pulling her mask down to take another sip of chocolate.
"Ah.Mianhae.I was caught up in the entertainment."he said sheepishly. His eye smile told her that he was smiling and she did the same.
She finished up the hot chocolate and placed the mug gently back onto the wooden table, lifting her mask back up to her face securely.
"Would you like a drink or should we just go?"she asked him.
He smiled again and stood up.
"Let's just go.As much as I would like to sit in the warm cafe rather than going out in the chilly early September autumn air,I'd much prefer the outside."he spoke, leading her out the door.
"Right. You sure are the sporty and nature loving one.Aren't you."she teased, falling into step beside him.She couldn't resist the smile that was forming on her face.
She turned to look at him.He wasn't that much taller than her,she realized. He was taller than her brother. She was sure about that. She laughed silently. She'd met him a few months ago.And they'd been aquatinted rather quickly.
She stuffed her hands in her sweater pockets and looked in front of them. She noticed that there were people-most probably fans-that were holding out their phones much like paparazzi would with cameras.
"You think they know who we are?"she asked him quietly. He turned his head to look at them before looking down at Hyejin and shook his head.
"I don't think so.I've made sure to cover my face on the way here."he said, pointing at his hoodie that covered his hair. She nodded.
"Besides.I think my charm would blind them. No?"He asked with a light chuckle before poking her at the sides of her waist.Hyejin laughed.
"Right.Your such a tease,Jeon Jungkook."she whispered.Just loud enough for the both of them to hear.
"Its a wonder how your hyungs can put up with you and your childish attitude."she mumbled.Jungkook stopped in front of a black Audi A8 L car. That is,if she wasn't mistaken about the Audi model.
"I'll take that as a compliment,Choi Hyejin.Thank you very much."he chuckled, pressing a button on a car key button. The car beeped and the unlocking mechanism of the door was hear.Jungkook held the passenger seat open for her.
