Somehow there was not longer something weighing down her heart. She didn't feel as burdened as before or so she thinks.
Hyejin layed in her cloud-like bed, staring at the sheer pink canopy top of her bed.She rolled over to the side and stared at the lamp that was situated on her bedside table. She found the lamp to be beautiful.
It was a simple lamp, really. But Hyejin liked to find the most beautiful things in anything and everything.Including people.
She had nothing to do.It was a weekday, yes. But she'd already perfected the choreography and recorded the songs. She had time to herself until her debut. And that was about a month or so away.
She planted her face in her pillow. She wasn't hungry and she didn't really feel like getting out of bed.She reached for her phone on her bedside table, face still planted in her pillow. As soon as she grabbed her phone, she rolled back over onto he back and turned her phone on,swiping through her social media and whatnot. She had another modeling schedule in a few months time. She stared at the photo of her and her brother, alongside his friends and the two managers at Lotte World yesterday. She couldn't help but allow the corners of her lips to tug into a small smile.
She swiped through the camera roll of her phone.Going through every single photo she had then stopped on one photo in particular.
The photo had more of a silhouette concept. It was on their first anniversary.Their dating anniversary few years back. When her brother was still around. He had his hands around her waist and hers around his neck. They were at the beach at nightfall. And the moon's beams glistened on the water. They were kissing and though you couldn't see their faces clearly, you could tell that they were smiling through the kiss.
She stared a little longer at the photo before deleting it.
They were strangers.Nothing more.Nothing less.
She then threw her duvet to one side of the bed and stood up.What could she do in Seoul? She decided to ask her brother.
She looked her outfit over. She was wearing her pajamas and a button up pajama top.It didn't show anything unnecessary and the top she was wearing wasn't thin material like the day before. So she found it alright. But decided to throw the undergarment on anyway.
She walked down the stairs carefully and entered the living room where everyone seemed to be.A tennis ball came flying in her direction. She blinked once and raised her hand up,catching the ball a few inches before it hit her face.
She stared at Seungkwan and Jeonghan with a raised eyebrow. The latter looked sheepishly at her and smiled innocently.
"Aish. When will you kids learn not to play balls inside-"
"That may not be possible seeing we're all boys here,Hyejin."DK said cheekily.Hyejin glared at DK and smiled.
"I'm sorry.What?"she asked.
"I said playing with balls won't be possible seeing we're all guys here?"DK repeated.
Hyejin smiled wider and beckoned DK over.No one made a sound, their eyes only trailing after DK who crossed the room with a clueless smile. They feared DK's life even S.Coups was worried of what would happen.
"DK."Hyejin said, still wearing her wide smile and pulled him over by the wrist to stand in front of her.
Her smile then disappeared as she flicked his forehead, his head flinging backwards. The sound of the impact on bone echoed through the room.
The members in the room flinched, somehow their hand flying to their foreheads as if they were the ones hit and cringed. They didn't know Hyejin could be this strong. In fact, they weren't surprised if she broke his bone just like that.
