Chapter 21

Hyejin beamed,the rays of sunlight hitting her face and casting a warm glint in her black eyes.The fresh air hit her and the scent of iodoform leaving her nostrils,washing away the pungent scent that it had left in her nostrils.

She pulled her black hat down closer and pulled her mask on her face,keeping her head low as the threw her fur-lined jacket's hoodie over her head after catching sight of her manager's small glare.

Her bodyguard stood a little ways behind her,ensuring to keep a keen eye out for any fans or reporters.His own mask covering his mouth and nose.His short brown hair flew around in the winter breeze.His tall figure turned many eyes towards him and his built figure didn't help the decrease attention in the least.

Hyejin laughed,looking at her bodyguard or rather,her new found best friend,Jae-Jin.He had a stoic look on his face but even so,she knew better.

He had kept her company when the others were busy practicing.And when they dropped by,he always made sure to stay outside her room,keeping watch.Much like any idol's bodyguard would.And today,was just one of the days she would be kept in the company of Jae-Jin for Wownoo and the others had dance practice and the following day,shooting for their MV for Oh My!

She followed her manager into the black car.

She sat in the leather seats,taking note of the many fans outside the hospital having heard she had been admitted there and would be released that day.

The shutting of the door followed after Jae-Jin entered the car,riding shotgun.She puffed her cheeks,wondering when she would go out in public without having to wear any breathing restricting masks or black hats.Which was most likely never.At least.Not without a camera following her around for any reality shows.

She sighed.She loved her job,sure.But she longed for the freedom as well.One without any fans following her or cameras rolling,scenes being shot over and over for the perfection of the reality show.

Jae-Jin turned to her,more or less knowing what she was thinking about.

"You want to go out.Don't you?"he asked.

She perked up,blinking as she spun her head in his direction,her eyes shining in anticipation and longing,hoping that they would allow her.She nodded her head,plastering on a genuine smile as she looked at them hopefully.

"Can I?"she asked,looking at her manager hopefully.

She clasped her hands.

"Please?Just for a day.Anywhere would do.Anywhere without cameras filming my every move or restricting black masks.Please,"she begged."Oppa?"she asked,adding on 'Oppa' in hopes that he would agree.

Chan Woo,her manager,sighed,turning the key,the roaring of the engines following soon after.

Chan Woo and Jae-Jin shared a look before staring ahead,focusing on driving and getting her to the dorm safely,knowing fans would be seated in their cars and following her to her dorm.Which in fact,was Seventeen's dorm.So,to lose them,they would take the long route.At the same time,having duplicates of their car behind them.

A plan than Han Sung-Soo had arranged for Hyejin.

Hyejin waited for his answer,her black doe like eyes looking at him with expectation and her hands clasped together in front of her.

He sighed once more,nodding.

"I'll see what I can do later."he paused.

"Thank you!"she beamed.

"But,"he said."You need to have Jae-Jin by your side at all times."

"Of course!"she smiled,resting against the back leather cushion of the car,sighing in content and bliss.
