Wow. I must say, this took way longer to write than expected. Honestly, I'd have expected to write this all in a year but I guess school and mental health was catching up with me.
I'll admit, I did at one point also lose the motivation and inspiration to write this because not only was I preparing for the final year of high school but also because I was really dealing with a lot.
2019 was relatively easier on me but there were still problems nonetheless which left to me having problems coping with life. I had originally wanted to give up on the book and all because it wasn't getting any views anyways but I more or less realised that not everyone was really into what I was writing and I couldn't and wouldn't be able to do anything about it. That I'd only be doing myself and my current readers a favour by following through with the plot.
2020, however did really just take a toll on me. I had to cope with the stress on Cambridge exams at the end of the year ( which is right now ) with the additional stress that Covid-19 has befallen everyone, really. Especially without the physical help that the teachers could provide through online learning, learning the chapters were honestly draining. Being at home all day was mentally, emotionally and physically draining.
So that being said, it didn't really help with any motivation to do anything related to writing this book or the original book I've been working on called the Outcast. To add, my physical health was deteriorating. I was frequently having headaches and my anxiety was eating at me. I'd lost the appetite to eat, seeing that anything that I ate really was vomited out and hence the liquid diet...and I felt like fainting 24/7.
Well, either ways, we've reached the end of the book. This, much like the other 2 books I've completed called Lucy's Revenge(Fairytail fanfic) and The Other Marauder(Harry Potter fanfic) will have sequels. That are, at the moment, placed on hold because I would love to focus all motivation and energy I have to finish my own original book, which will be my number one priority.
I would also like to thank the readers that have stayed with me in these two years that I've been writing this book. It's been a journey and the characters have just truly developed into their own people with their own feelings and emotions that I like to think express themselves through me.
With that said, Thank you, for reading Falling For You. And until next time, whether it be in a sequel or in another book, I hope you continue to support me!
