With arm encircled around her waist,he pulled her closer, planting a soft, loving kiss on her temple. But she paid all that no attention. Her eyes were cast far away,a distant and cold look in them.

"He was so sad."she mumbled softly, tears filling up her eyes as she turned to look at him.

"He was so sad,you know. When he went to pre school in America."

Wonwoo stared into her dazzling orbs, reflecting the diamond embedded satin of the night sky.He remained silent, allowing her to recall the past four years that he hadn't been present in her life.In their life.

"The kids always bullied him for not having a father. For having everything he could ever want.Everything but a father. And it broke me to hear the principal call me everyday.Calling me to tell me my son was crying. It was horrible and I didn't know what to do.My heart ached to console my little boy.But I didn't know how to.And that hurt.Because the kids were right.Keegan had a rich mother.A mother that could give him everything but a father. They're all kids and I guess they didn't know what they were saying. They're 3 for gods sake. But,it occured to me that it would only get worse as he got older."

Wonwoo smiled softly at her, bringing her close to him.He placed kisses on her forehead, rubbing her back comfortingly.

"I'm here."he whispered, pulling her closer to his chest.

"I'm glad he accepted you,you know.Keegan.I'm glad you've bonded too."Hyejin laughed weakly.

"Yeah.Me too.I'll always love you both.Remember that.No one can change that. So,promise me you won't keep secrets anymore. That you won't leave me again because of some fans threatening us okay?"

Hyejin nodded, wrapping her arms around Wonwoo's waist.

"Let's go up.It's getting late.We still have to tuck in the little one."Wonwoo breathed, pulling Hyejin up with him.

Encircling his arm around her waist, they walked into the apartment complex and into the lift.Wrapping both arms around Wonwoo's torso,Hyejin looked up at him and bit her lip.

"Why am I so lucky to have you? What did I do to deserve you?"Hyejin mumbled.

Wonwoo smiled at her, raising a hand to tuck the loose strands of hair behind her ear.He then cupped her cheek, staring her intently into her eyes.

"Hey.You deserve everything. You deserve more than what I can ever give you.I'm not the best there is but I promise to do my best."he whispered softly, looking into her eyes.Hoping to project the words and emotion that remained to be left unsaid.

Placing a delicate kiss on her lips,he smiled, intertwining his hands with hers, hands locking securely together like a perfectly cut puzzle piece.

Stepping out of the elevator,Hyejin's smile vanished.Eyes dilating as she stared at the wide open door of the apartment that showed their ransacked house.

"No,no no no no."She mumbled, quickly tugging at her hand before running towards the door.

To say that the place looked chaotic was an understatement.Because everything was flipped. The sofa ripped with the springs popping out of the cushions. The chandelier hung loosely on wires, its glass shards embedding themselves like diamonds into the cream fur rug.

"KEEGAN!"Hyejin shouted,running around the house.

"Keegan honey!"she called, her voice turning desperate. She had the gut feeling that she should have brought him with them. But her selfish desires to be alone with the man she loved overtook the priority of her son.She knew her son would be defenceless.Especially since she'd given the two men a day off.

She raked her hands through her hair, crouching down while tears poured endlessly from her eyes. She looked up hopelessly at Wonwoo who looked just as wrecked as she did.

"What do I do,Wonwoo?My baby..."she sobbed.

Wonwoo sighed, looking around at the mess that was their home.Crouching down beside Hyejin,he rubbed her back comfortingly, bringing her head to his chest whilst hugging her tightly.

"We'll find him.I promise."

"How?"she croaked,looking up.

It pained Wonwoo to see her this way.Broken and lost. And,he knew that there was no assuring that they would find him that easily.

Looking around at the mess,he spotted a note behind the door.Untangling himself from Hyejin,he walked towards the door, ripping the note from the door as he read it.

Wonwoo furrowed his brows, averting his eyes from the note to her questioning orbs.

"What does it say?"she whispered and when he didn't answer, she stumbled on her legs, kneeling down on the floor beside Wonwoo.

"Tell me.Please.TELL ME!"she begged, desperate to know who had taken her son.

"I can't live like this,Wonwoo.Tell me what does it say."

Wonwoo sighed, ripping the paper into shreds before tossing it out the window.

"No!"Hyejin screamed, running to the window, watching as the pieces of paper drifted into the cold winter air.She crumpled to the floor, resting her forehead against the concrete of the wall while sobs wrecked her body.

"Hyejin..."

She faced Wonwoo, range contorting her beautiful and delicate features into a demonic snarl. She stood up,walking towards him, every step a thunderous boom.Every breath a death threat.

"Do you not care that my son-Our son is missing?I fucking hate you,Wonwoo.I hate you with every fibre of my being."she spat.

Wonwoo stood calmly before her, smiling softly.

"You dare to smile?You're corrupted.You're-"

Hyejin fell silent as he cupped her cheeks, kissing her softly. But even then, she could feel the hesitance in the kiss.As if knowing it would silence her.But as the same time, not knowing if it would work. And it did,she relaxed at the touch of their lips.

She could feel the burning anger dissipating. She could feel herself think more rationally.

"Why?"she whispered when he pulled away.

He smiled,shrugging.

"I had to get you to relax. This used to work so I thought about giving it a shot.Besides,"he chuckled, turning his back to her.

"QI knew if I didn't calm you down you would literally run into the raging fire. We'll find him,Hyejin. You have to trust that."he said assuringly, offering his hand to hers.

She brought the flesh of her lips in between her pearly whites, placing her hands in his hesitantly.

"How's the boy?"she asked, nodding towards the unconscious boy lying chained to the floor.

The blonde woman crouching beside the toddler looked up.

"Is this really necessary? He's shivering."she asked, gesturing to the rope binding the boy's hands and the tape that had itself plastered on his lips.

She black haired woman shrugged, sauntering away. She couldn't care less about the little boy that lay on the cold hard ground. At least, she made herself believe so.

"Yes.I could care less what happens to him."

"You don't mean that."

She stopped at the door, squaring her shoulders and lifting her chin as she did so.She squinted at the lady before her, eyes distant and cold.

"That's where you're wrong.Because I don't."she mumbled before walking off.
