Chapter 12

Comebacks were what many fans anticipated the most.Hyejin sat in the front row of the seats.They were currently in the Mnet building and Seventeen was rehearsing on the stage with the lights,microphones and all.And as of current,they were dancing to Oh My!The first song in their new album,You Make My Day.

She sung along with the song and copied a few moves she'd memorized by now from watching them rehearse.

She cheered and waved the Carat Bong that she held in her hands-one that was custom made and designed especially for her-happily.

Seeing Hyejin amongst the seats of the crowd,they couldn't help but smile and give it their all.Especially when Wonwoo met her eyes.He was determined to do his best.

"Go Seventeen!I love you!"She screamed like a fan would when the song ended.The boys laughed at Hyejin as they made their way to the edge of the stage and sat.

"How was it?"Seungkwan asked her before tilting the bottle he held in his hands towards his lips and taking gulps of water.

"I'd be lying if I said it was just fine.Because it was awesome.I'm sure the fans would think so too."she smiled.

"Hyejin.Your turn."One of the staffs announced.Hyejin smiled at the boys who slid off the side of the stage and took their seats in the front,returning the favor of cheering for her by chanting her name,reading off the script for the fan chant as well as waving their personal Carat Bongs in the air wildly like the boys they were.

Hyejin stepped up on stage under the spotlight.Her first song required no choreography.She sat on the stool in the middle of the stage.The rest of the room was dark with only the spotlight being the only source of light in the dark.

As soon as the music started,she closed her eyes and swayed to the song,swaying the carat bong she had in her hand.She didn't really bother with her own fandom light stick.It was mostly Seventeen's stage.Not hers.It would simply tell Korea and the rest of her fans that it would be her second debut.

She sung her heart out before the spotlight faded.The stool was hastily dragged away from the stage and backup dancers came out.The second song would start up in just a matter of seconds and Hyejin froze in position.

The spotlights returned and she stood up.Feeling the beat,she projected the feelings she had through the steps she took and through the smile she wore.

And even though the room itself was cold,sweat started to form on her forehead.She danced the moves she'd rehearsed countless times in the dance studio of Pledis and the in dorm dance studio.

The next song came up and she readied herself.This was more of a relaxing song that she could dance to and catch her breath with.She danced around the stage with passion.She wanted to show her fans that she would work hard and that she would pour all her love for them through song and dance.

She placed her head in her hand as she sat on the floor with one of her knees to her chest,attempting to catch her breath as the second song ended.Her throat was slightly dry and when one of the staffs handed her a water bottle,she bowed and thanked them.Unscrewing the cap and tipping the bottle up to her lips where water met her dry mouth.

The cold liquid was welcomed and it eased her throat.

"Good Job,Hyejin!"Seventeen chanted.

"Woo!We love you!"They screamed.Faint pink dusted her cheeks and she was thankful for the darkness of the stage.

She laughed heartily and sat with them in the front row.She then noticed they were no longer waving their Carat Bongs.Rather,they were waving her own light stick from the previous company.The same light stick that would no longer be in use.
