Woozi

Woozi stuffed his hands in his winter jacket,watching as puffs of white mist formed before his face every single time he let out a breath.

He'd been waiting patiently for Areum to come out.He was leaning against the walls beside the gate of her house.The massive two story house was the home of none other than Kim Mingyu's family.

The gates to the mansion opened up automatically,rolling behind the cold stone walls and out came a smiling Kim Areum,Mingyu's older sister.

She'd given him a call earlier on and asked if he wanted to hang out. Woozi,of course,agreed.And for what reason?He didn't know.

Areum's brown locks flowed down in beautiful silky waves.She wore a pink sweater inside and a white fur jacket outside.In her gloved hands she held her phone.She then stuffed her phone into the back pocket of her jeans and smiled.

Woozi's lips immediately tugged upwards into a bright smile.He pulled her towards him and encircled his arms around her for a hug.

"How are you?"Woozi asked,his arms still around her.

She placed her head on his shoulder.

"Fine."she whispered.

They stayed in each other's arms a while longer before pulling away.Woozi took her hands in his and they walked down the street.

"Where are we going,Areum?"Woozi asked.

"Mingyu might get angry if he finds out his sister is out with me without his permission."Woozi said.

She laughed.

"He won't find out.I promise.Besides,I'm a year older than him.So I'm sure he wouldn't mind."she said giving him a peck on the cheek.He smiled.

"Maybe."he spoke.She was leading him down the road by walking in front slightly while still having their hands interlocked.

"You know it's risky,Areum.Where are we going?We can't risk anyone taking pictures or videos.You know your safety is more important.Can't we stay at your place?"he said,taking out his mask and pulling up his hoodie on his head when he realized they were nearing a park.

"I guess...but it won't be all too fun."she pouted.

Woozi stopped walking and tugged Areum into his arms once again,hugging her from the back.

"We can't risk exposing you to the public.You know that.There's a reason Mingyu has kept you and your parents away from the wyes and ears of the public.Seeing you with me could cause an uproar."Woozi explained.

"Let's go back."he pleaded.

Areum let out a short sigh but nodded hesitatingly.

"Fine."

When they reached the gates of the mansion,Areum pulled her phone out and took a card from the card holder in her case.She slid it against a slit in the card reader which was followed by a faint beep and the rustling of the gate mechanisms.

Woozi tugged her inside by the arm and pulled out his own card-that Areum had given him-and swiped it against the card reader by the door.

Another beep and the unlocking mechanism was heard before the door swung open.He beamed and pulled Areum again gently by the arm.

They sat on the sofa and stayed there,enjoying each other's company.

Areum pulled a small box her coat pocket and handed it to Woozi.

"Here.It's for you."

Woozi took it with raised eyebrows.

"It's your birthday,silly.It's my gift for you."

Woozi lifted the lid of the box and inside,on a soft cushion like material sat an expensive Gucci watch.And under the watch was a picture of them.Well,what he could make out anyway.

The picture was a polaroid of them supposedly taken by Hyejin under the moonlight last Christmas.

If he was not mistaken,it was when he'd confessed to her under the mistletoe and them kissing.

He didn't think there would be anyone there and he was certain there was no one there.He wanted to keep his confession and this relationship secret from the members and family.

Woozi looked at Areum questioningly.

"Hyejin knows?"

Areum nodded.

"Of course she does.She was the first to find out and the only one who knew and still is.She hasn't told anyone.She promised me not to tell anyone no matter what."Areum explained,scooting closer towards Woozi.

"And I trust her with my life.I've known her that long to trust her enough."she finished.

Woozi nodded and smiled,planting a kiss on her forehead repeatedly.

"Thank you,Areum."he whispered.

She nodded and closed her eyes,resting her head against his shoulder.

"You're welcome you dork.And Happy Birthday."she said lookin him in the eyes.

Woozi chuckled and planted a kiss on her lips.

"I love you so much,Areum.Your presence is a Birthday gift enough."

Areum smiled and closed her eyes again.

"Your welcome."

It's me.And I'd like to wish Woozi a happy birthday.This little plot is not related to the current storyline.It may or may not happen in a future chapter for this is only a chapter I came up with for the sake of his birthday.

Uri Woozi is 23!

Anyways,I hope you enjoy.The chapter for the current storyline should be out either today(22 November 2018) or tomorrow.So....look forward to that.It's a much longer chapter so...hope it satisfies your craving for reading because...well...I haven't updated in a little over a week.
